Suppose it's a bit early for this yet, but has anyone given any thoughts to PVP healing builds? My initial thoughts would be Templar/Warden/Purifier.

Feedback?

Well, i've been doing PvP healing with my normal build and it works ok. But I have been toying with a certain build, and I have come to this conclusion so far.

PvP Purifier Build: http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00jeG.eVzo0h.xAxzu.xEx0z0s
So... Notice I did not take the Templar pvp tree. I do not want to use it until I have raised my pvp prestige. There is really no point in taking it until then. Half of the abilities are locked until you level your pvp prestige anyway, so you have points you're just going to waste. So, just kinda put up with normal builds for now until you level a bit imo.

Purifier definitely seems to have a lot of heals->damage reduction abilities. A lot of, cast a heal->increase armor, or even a damage reduction based on spellpower. Kinda nice.

Purifier seems like a very good soul to include in an pvp healing build. It has a talent which reduces spell knockback by 50%, and a spell which makes the next X number of attacks against the cleric not interrupt their spell casting. Both of these are very useful. The shields are better than an instant cast HoT for the same amount of health, and also can prevent spell casting knockback.

I haven't ran through any specific builds, but combining that with HoTs from teh warden gives you a lot of ability to stack some preemptive healing on a person.

Sentinel, while being touted as an AoE healer, does have some impressive single target capability, including starting off with a very nice instant heal.

I tried combos of all three ward/sent/pur with and without temp up to 29 last beta. What worked for me was 15ish each in ward/sent and 5ish Pur. Gave me a HoTs and instants along with big casting heals, AoEs and an Oh C#%^! shield. Worked very nicely!

I tested some healing in pvp as a full healing souls as you did Kardall; except I was mainly focused on Purifier. I found it really fun with the shield and absorbs and having the hots from both warden and purifier really made it pretty easy to heal.

This is what I was using at lvl 28. http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00jGe.0M.xxoVctd.x

I was mainly messing around with the points as I've seen some better talents being used, but it worked rather effectively for me with having the warden knockback and the HoTs as well as having shields and absorbed damage, so I could still cast heals in between.

And I mainly got the 2 points in Sent for the snare, but I think I will probably spec out of it as it seemed to really be less effective since I was mainly healing.
