after i buy the game, do i have to uninstall the trial version before i install the full version?
i'd really rather avoid another one of those updates that i had to deal with when first using the trial.
also, does the month of membership start from the time i purchase the game (i've ran into programs that do) or after i upgrade my acc?

I was under the impression they abolished the free 30 days when they implemented Rift Lite and the ability to play for free until level 20.

As far as I know they still offer it. It's pretty common for developers to give the first 30 days free when you buy the game, just to offset consumer rage at the thought of being double charged to get started.

Oops...I stand corrected...they did remove the free 30 days when you buy the game. Considering it's only $5 to buy it online, it's still not a bad deal.
