is this phase able to be completed by free a free acc?

(i plan on upgrading my acc in a couple weeks)
but hoping that i can manage to get the 5 doubloon before i cross that particular bridge...

Yes, but it won't be easy. You'll have to cross over to the other faction's starting area and do the quest there. You'll need help...it's not something you can solo.

Try it before you pooh-pooh it. If you can't cross over to Shoreward Island and then over into Freemarch/Silverwood, then you can't do it. If you can and you don't try, then you miss out on the doubloon.

Not sure if shorewind island is an "accessible" area for Rift Lite accounts, but it's worth a try.

At worst, the next event immediately following this one will also have both mounts available.
