Seeing as how I've made more money than I've spent off of this sale so far, I picked up New Vegas Ultimate for the hell of it. I might even get around to playing it in a few years. I'm starting to get annoyed at the voting. Every single time that there is something that I want to buy, it ends up losing.

Somehow, people are consistently voting for the worst deals of the lot. Over and over and over.

So far in for Binding of Isaac, Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate, Bastion (looking forward to Transistor on PS4), and Portal 2. All $5 or less.

On the cool side, I just finished my new PC which includes SSD, i7 3770k, and a 4GB 760GTX. I turned on ubersampling in Witcher 2 and my Framerate still dropped into the low 20's. Smiley: frown Since those cards are so cheap, going to SLI it up hopefully soon.

I really want to mess around with mods in Skyrim so waiting for that cheap. I already got the platinum on PS3 so in no hurry.

@Joph, you're lucky to have Micro Center so close to you. I was in Chicago last weekend for a show so I got my CPU and mobo there. It was about $100 cheaper in store than Newegg/online.

I voted for Torchlight 2 because Just Starve is only 40%. Not buying for that, will wait for daily.

Well this is one of the rare votes where all the games in it are actually good. But I'm pretty sure TL (and I'm sure Don't Starve) have both been on sale before in this sale, and were generally cheaper. I know I got TL2 for a pittance.

But this is the lowest the third has ever been. I think it's release was somewhat recent?

Gunpoint. The lowest it's been so far is $8.99, and it's been really well received. It only came out on June 3rd, though.

Oh, ya, I got the Demo. It's a good puzzle game. And it's fun to beat a guards face in and have the game say "You only have to punch them once..."

There have been a few games that have been Flash sales and up for vote (after the flash ended) for the same prices.

75% is bigger than 40%!!!!

I swear, you could put up Magicka at 80% off and it would win versus whatever else. Just for 80% off

I finally got a chance to buy stuff last night (was first time Steam worked when I was around all weekend). So I got Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and I also grabbed the Galaxy sand box. (was like 2 bucks and is actually kind of neat.)

There is a couple other games I have been eyeing but my Paypal funds need refunding (3 EVE accounts is costly).

Arma II so I can get Dayz,
AoE II HD, (nostalgia)
Spore (I had a cracked copy on disc somewhere but now its gone Smiley: frown),
CIV 5: BNW.
Thats about it.

I am kind of irritated because I bought Kerbals, Starlight, and Saints Row 3 about a month ago....now its all 50%+ off.

Any games you guys found that are cool?

DOTA 2 for 100% off vs Magicka 85% off vs BSI w/ Season Pass 60% off.

DOTA 2 would probably win.

Not to cause a fuss but... you bought games a month before the big sale and are upset that they're cheaper during the big sale?

Did they show the deal last year? I actually wish they wouldn't, and you could just vote on the game you wanted the sale on.

Also, I've never heard of any of the flash sales this round before.

And the vote is all zombie titles, so I couldn't give a rats ***. I'm not buying any of them anyway - anyone have a favorite?

Left for Dead is on sale all the time, right? I guess I could vote the Dead Island one then? Figure giving $20 off to someone who wants it could be noble. Or something.

I assume the only people who don't own L4D2 by now are people with no interest in playing L4D2. It's 75% off all the time.

I'm not buying DI: Riptide for $20 no matter what.

So WarZ it is. I'm not buying that either but it made me laugh to vote for it.

I am a steam rookie, outside of FFXI Abyssea the only thing I purchased prior to this was Skyrim when they had the sale on while back (before Dragonborn). Ive got other games but my bro sent them as gifts. Had no idea that Steam had such a sale. Now that I do...I will have a lot of games.

My brother bought Fallout New Vegas during last years sales, only to have it go on a flash about 10 hours later for an extra 25% off. I warned him not to buy games at the beginning of the sales unless they were flash sales...

Yeah, they have a big sale in the summer, one around Christmas and have had smallish sales around Thanksgiving and Halloween (they had a zombie game themed one before). Just FYI.

Also, don't buy anything that's not a Daily Deal, Flash sale or Community Choice winner until the last day. The "standard" sale prices will be good for the whole sale and you won't wind up buying a game for 50% off just to have it be 75% off as a Daily deal or Flash sale the next day.
