FFVII is a flash sale for 33% off. I bought it earlier from GMG for 30% off.

I voted for Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. I think I'll buy it if it wins.

That's what I voted, too. It's been on my watchlist for a long time. Maybe I'll finally get around to really looking into it.

You should play the demo if you haven't already. I enjoyed it, and for can see grabbing it for 4 dollars if they vote for it.

I'm still hoping Legend of Grimrock goes back on sale before the end of the whole thing. Maybe during a super flash sale at the end...

Didn't notice it had one, I'll do that.

Grimrock was another one I was watching for - grabbed it earlier in this sale. With how often repeats are coming up, I'd be surprised if it wasn't an option.

I'm really hoping Jade Empire will go on sale, but I've more or less given up.

Im contemplating FF7 but I already have 2 copies on Disks (Whiteback/GH), and a copy on PSP/PS3. The sale ends tomorrow and I would like a copy for PC to use the "updated" fan graphics. Decisions, Decisions.

If you think $8 is worth having better models for your party members, then I guess. Otherwise, no.

I got it back when I got that 10 dollar Square bundle from Amazon. Which I think was actually my introduction to this whole Steam/Digital download library collection game...

And it sounds like the $8 isn't even going to the people that did the graphic upgrading.

Quite right.

Current sales are Terraria, Sleeping Dogs, Dark Souls, and Max Payne 3. FTL won the community vote. All are 75% off.

Cause that hasn't been 2.50 at all in the last week. Smiley: mad

Edit:
So are the next 24 hour deals in 5 hours the last daily group? I know it said 22nd, and that will put it into noon on the 22nd.

They'll have one more group of daily deals today; then when the store updates tomorrow it will be the "Best Of", which will end at Tuesday's store update.

Edit: Correction, since the postcard behind the main one is now randomized with each page refresh today may be the "Best Of" sale.

I didn't notice that, but sure enough, Bioshock Infinite was there when I first checked. Reus, then Skyrim.

So tomorrow morning may be the last flash deal before the end of the sale. Otherwise I got to remember to look up my Steam password and bring it with me to work and double check things before the end of the day...

Check the sale again in about an hour. I've noticed that it takes awhile for Dragonborn to drop from 30% to 50%. It might be the same with regular Skyrim since it's also at 30% off.

Assuming I didn't miss one, I'm guessing that's the last vote of the event.

Also, sales are pretty much what you could have guessed they'd be.

Maybe this isn't the right place to ask this, but I did a cursory look around for the old Skyrim thread and didn't find it (operative word: cursory).

I bought the Skyrim DLC. In fact, I screwed the pooch and bought the Legendary Edition while I already owned the basic Skyrim. O.K., I got over it. But now I cannot find anything to indicate any of the DLC is available.

Steam says "it should be there" and my library does show it if I right click on Skyrim and then on DLC, like they suggested. But there is no DLC tab when I right click on Skyrim on my desktop and then click on Properties, which they also suggested. Also, there is no indication of any DLC when I launch the game, when I load an old character, when I look at the map, or when I start a new character.

Any ideas on what I'm missing here? Do I need to have a character of a certain level (as opposed to four at level 30)?

If you can help, thanks. If you can't, well thanks anyway.

Well, with limited experience with any of them, the first thing I can think of is to check if there's any clay around you in the world. Like near the stream/river outside Whiterun.

If it's there, that means that Hearthfire, at least, is installed.

Dragonborn stuff apparently starts by getting randomly attacked by cultists when the city environments load, so going in/out of a building a few times might give you a clue.

And Dawnguard, you get randomly attacked by Master Vampires, Thralls, and Hell Hounds.

I think if you use BOSS or Nexus Mod Manager you will probably see the Dawnguard/Hearthfire/Dragonborn ESM files as well.

Bethesda game launchers normally have a "Load Data File" option that lets you load or unload the DLC from the game. You should check there as well.

I'm losing hope that Grimrock is going to go on 75% off again before the end.

It's 66% at $5 right now. It's up to you, whether or not that last dollar really matters to you.

Wait until the very end, we still have 2-3 more community votes and flash sales left.
