Assuming Steam ever stops crashing, what's the verdict for Bioshock: Infinite? Worth it for $30? I don't think I've bought a game that "expensive" since... I can't even remember Smiley: lol Granted, I do spend a fair amount on DLC. Anyway... worth buying?

Yeah, I've been trying to make my purchase for hours now...

Cheaper on GMG right now. $24 with coupon.

It's about 10-12 hours of game play, 2 hours of cut scenes, tells a good story (in my opinion) and has acceptable game play mechanics. If you're happy playing a plot driven game for the plot rather than exceptional shooter mechanics, I think you'd probably find it worth it. I paid about $24 for it and was satisfied.

Obviously, if you buy it, play it and now and not backlog it until it's 75% off with a MSRP drop to $30 Smiley: grin

I might be doing something wrong, but adding the coupon code doesn't change the price for me at GMG. Could be because I'm not registered? Not sure.

I'll probably hold off on the Steam version of it for now... I wants the shiny... but I still have other games I could play. I still haven't gotten through my Skyrim DLC, or Recettear, or Witcher 2... Smiley: frown

Glad I got my sold when the market for them was still ~$2.00 each.

Anyone want a Steam key for The Maw? Got an extra from Amazon.

Yeah, mine sold for like $.60-.80. But, hey, free credit.

I would have been able to sell them earlier, but it took forever to actually get through to make the purchase. And then my cart cleared itself and I had to start over...

Apparently they expired the voucher. Weak sauce, GMG... weak sauce. Smiley: disappointed

Can always use the 15% "Gooncave" coupon at Amazon for it. They price-matched Steam's 50% off.

Damn. I just spent $46.00 on the Skyrim Legendary and DAO Ultimate.

But I got $3.20 back from selling cards.

DA is worth far more than that, so it's worth it. And in terms of sheer hour potential (without even mentioning anything else), Skyrim is too.

Oh, I'm not complaining. I guess I should have added that I was home for less than five minutes and already spent that much.

On the fence about Defiance. I haven't read enough about it to know enough about it.

EDIT: I just checked, and I have 467 hours into the original Skyrim. I think I got my money's worth.

I guess this is a bad time to point out the individual DLC were on sale too, then.

If it gives you separate Steam Keys, you might want to try and gift the other.

Plays like a 3rd person Borderlands, but with less polish, and in a MMO setting, does get very repetative though. If you like the show, the game is good for filling in some backstory.

Lame, Borderlands 2 won the vote. That game's been on sale every other week for the last three months...

Are you f***ing kidding me? That wasn't even a good deal. At all. It was easily the worst deal of the three.

Metro Last Light is $.01 at Bestbuy.com right now. Probably a serious mess-up from someone, get on it if that's something you're okay with.

I was.

Here.

No clue if they'll honor it or not. It's a delayed release on the keys.

[EDIT]

Upside to the BL2 sale is that I could complete my DLC collection for $3 and change, I guess.

Voted for Saints Row. Might buy it at $5. But I already own the other two, so...

I voted for and bought BL2 + Season Pass. (Don't hate me because I missed the other sales and mostly use Steam) (and I'm beautiful)

Also snagged Defiance (wtf might as well)
and
Gunslinger.

Building my wishlist now to see if some of the entire summer sale discounts go lower on daily or flash.

NO 1 CENT METRO FOR YOU.

It worked, btw.

And what's gunslinger?

edit:

Oh.

[EDIT]

So the Metro thing was SUPPOSED to be free copies included in a video card purchase. Smiley: lol
