If so, give Artelier Totori Plus a try. Game had zero marketing in the US at least and is fantastic. Been on the top sellers list for a few weeks now.

Six minutes until combat. Looks like it plays like the PS3 Atelier games. Not exactly a complaint, as they were pretty solid but I couldn't really get into them because they put too much emphasis on alchemy in my opinion.

I've been meaning to get the PS3 version. Any major differences in the Plus edition?

Whether Wint does or doesn't exist is an issue of a nondisclosure agreement.

I was trying to find a better video that wasn't a vomit inducing recording from an iPhone without luck (and I didn't have much time to look either really).

I've never played an Artelier game before so this is all new to me but having a solid RPG on the Vita that isn't from the PS1 is refreshing. Not sure how different the PS3 version is, if at all.

I never really left, mostly post in the XIV forums though. I haven't been to OOT or the Asylum in months if not years.

Wint recommended White Knight Chronicles which was terrible. Not sold.

I enjoyed White Knight Chronicles. And I started II, but only played about an hour. After being so powerful near the end of the first one, starting at the second one, enemies were so much stronger than me and it took me by surprise. Never got into the online thing, but I hear that's the main draw of the game. I enjoyed the story, I was kind of sad at the end of the first one because of some events.

I'm still hoping that they release the DS Tales game remakes for the Vita in the US. I'm kind of hoping they do what they did with Tales of Graces f, ignore Tales of Graces and just do the remake with added content. I think I mentioned it before but if they did release those, I'd buy a Vita. And if I had a Vita, I'd probably buy Artelier Totori Plus.

I'm having fun with it but as stated above the alchemy is a bit overwhelming at first. It also puts a lot of focus on a calendar which I don't like because I feel rushed to get things done. Similar to how Persona 4 Golden is for the Vita. I like both games, but I don't like having a limited amount of time to do things.

I can't speak for persona 4 but I actually liked the time mechanic in persona 3 because it made choices meaningful. If you can do everything choices don't mean much.

However, time only moved when you decided to do something - is it different in 4?

4's calender works almost identical to 3's.

Yeah, that's pretty much the impression I got from the PS3 games. If you want an Atelier game that has a good balance between alchemy and actual game play, I'd suggest Mana Khemia for the PS2. It is an Atelier game, same company same mechanics and everything, just a different name. Unlike the PS3, you never really feel rushed by the calender system, and the alchemy is important but doesn't feel like it's the main focus of the game.

I snagged this stealth release. I didn't know you have a Vita. Anyone that does, add me @ Sepherlawls (or just for PSN in general). I have Soul Sacrifice coming release date shipping. Just finishing up Thomas Was Alone now.

Also, you all need to play Guacamelee. Game is spectacular.

Here's my background and folders. Smiley: grin

Now I'd like some raisin bread =/

I did always enjoy the Atelier series, though Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana wasn't all that great in my opinion. It's too bad that I don't have a Vita, otherwise I'd give this a try.

I'll try to remember to add you, alternatively you can find me on the PSN, Wintaru of course Smiley: tongue

I'm waiting to try Fez until he manages to port it to the Vita, which I'm told is coming at some point.

I had not heard that, but there is a huge influx of incoming big name indies coming soon. Hotline Miami should be later this month (as in May).

Binding of Isaac
Lone Survivor
Spelunky
Terraria
Luftrausers

Frozen Synapse

I will be getting all of those.

I'm very tempted to buy a Vita. Soul Sacrifice is not helping my self-restraint. I'm already a PS Plus member, so I can get some free games from that, but I just haven't taken that last step. I should've snagged the Assassin's Creed bundle last fall. I liked the silver color.

The reversible cover is one of my favorite for this year.

The only cover that comes close is Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and that was digital only.

If SE ports FFXI to Vita, I will buy it.

Otherwise, **** it I still have my fatboy PSP and I still haven't "finished" Dissidia 012.
