Because we can start new threads too.

9 hours to go.

Also I watched all the preamble movies on steam with the faux investigative TV news story. I love me some good backstory. I almost feel like a couple of the reviews I read today gave away to much. I can guess at some of what will happen. But they said the "Twist" still might get youeven if you are waiting for it like M Knight Shamalan.

I guess I ought to pre-load it so I can be like all the cool kids and play it right when it releases. Will I be able to use a gamepad? Cause, yo, I am a heretic.

I will play it with gamepad most likely. Any game that supports it, I usually give it a spin. Helps with the carpal I've developed in my WASD hand from to many MMO's and recently from way too much MWO.

I can shoot good enough with it for PVE anyway. I played all of Far Cry 3 with the game pad.

And my preload is at 32% now.

I work in an office, writing a lot so... I try to use gamepad when possible just to change it up for my poor suffering hands. I know that keyboard and mouse is more precise but it is a huge turn off for me when games don't support gamepad. If I would rather suck and not have sore hands, that's my business

I'm 100% preloaded since Friday/Sat here. I got a killer deal of 25 dollars for Bioshock: Inf, Xcom: EU (Which I sold to a friend for 8 dollars) Mafia 2(Only game I didn't Have on the list), and Bioshock 1 (Which I gave to Turin), and the game is looking to be awesome. Im stoked.

As for Pad Vs Keyboard, different strokes for different folks. I havent played many console games until recently and Im having the opposite effect, especially with precision games like Trials Evolution Gold for PC, after a few hours of playing my hands ache like nothing else, since I'm not used to using a gamepad. But in the sense of this being a mainly SP experience I don't think anyone can fault you, if the options there.

Myself, I will be using KB/Mouse since I fail hardcore at console FPS and I'm better with K/M setup.

All the cool kids have the $150 Ultimate Songbird edition with Songbird statue, art book... keychain... umm... pogs?... and I think that's a Monopoly piece. Anyway, yeah. Hundred and fiddy bucks.

All pre-loaded here for some sweet M+Kb action as the good Lord intended. I know there's some twist but I've also heard of people going around spoiling it in Youtube video comments in a "Snape kills Dumbledore" sort of way so I'm just steering clear of most of that stuff until I've played.

Was the puzzle game worth playing? I kind of half looked into it but it looked like it required a bunch of signing up and junk. (I don't Faceborg)

It was a moderately interesting puzzle game where you set gears to reach from Point A to Point B. At the end of each time you decide which faction to give the "production" to but I think that only affects the final reward. You get all the in-game rewards after the 12th puzzle and have to play 59 puzzles for the final reward: Facebook/Twitter avatars, wallpaper, etc. Guess who played 12 puzzles and stopped...

Rewards wrote:
  • Silver Eagles: in-game currency that can be used to purchase items and upgrades in BioShock Infinite
  • Lockpicks: in-game items that can be used to allow Elizabeth to unlock doors in BioShock Infinite
  • Handyman Nemesis: Gear that deals additional damage to Handymen enemies in BioShock Infinite
  • Sugar Rush Gear that allows you to move faster for a short time after eating any snack in BioShock Infinite
  • Fleet Feet Gear that allows you to not slow down as much when you back away or sidestep in BioShock Infinite

You don't need to link to Facebook and just just register on the site via email. Here's all the puzzle solutions if you just want to power through it. According to the terms on the site, you have until April 2014 to play the game anyway.

Well, I was going to play the puzzle game, but apparently my free copy doesn't count as a preorder.

Nah, the AMD copies don't qualify. I've heard Amazon was having trouble getting their Industrial Revolution codes out as well. Steam, GG & GMG buyers should have it.

That is one pretty game. Running ultra settings and smooth as silk so far. Still in the intro parts of wandering the city though, haven't had any combat yet.

Yes sir. It is indeed. That scene with the candles... wow. Also running ultra and pleasantly surprised at the smoothness. I'm into combat, really wished I had tomorrow off from work now. Must go to sleep but hard to stop.

Also running at ultra, and the game is gorgeous. I played for a couple hours and just picked up the Murder of Crows vigor. I wish I could keep playing but I have to work in about five hours, and I need a little sleep.

About 4 hours in, taking a break, Love it so far. Only ran High graphics but I streamed the entire time, was always 90+ FPS. I started on Hard becuase I read Normal is a tad easy, died a few times but mostly was getting used to controls. I had to change a lot of the defaults. Right Mouse = ADS
Mouse 5= Vigor
Mouse 4= Melee

If Bioshock Inf has taught me one thing, it's dead bodies and trash cans always have yummy food.

Waiting for the inevitable $29.99/$34.99 price point. I have been chipping away steadily at my backlog and completed Bioshock 2 finally, earlier this month.

I fired it up, got shot into the city and had to go to work. I've never played a FPS before so I have it on easy. (EZ MODE W CONTROLLER YO) It does look awfully pretty. I'm interested to give it a try tonight. I've got a dentist appointment so I'll be home before my lady, which should give me some good quality game time.

SO... tried it. It's a little more gore-y than I would like and even on easy I am having a tough time. This really isn't my kind of game, but I have been enjoying it as well - the design sensibility is amazing. I love the look of it, the sound of it and everything. I just wish that either I was better at shooting a whole bunch of targets swarming me with machine guns or that there was a SUPER DUPER easy setting or that there was a "turn based rpg mode" (ha ha) Cause really, that's the sort of game I usually play.

My game list is too long to buy it now, but I'll be picking it up once I finish off a few games. By then I'm sure I can get it 33-50% off.

Early Thoughts: Minor Threat is kind of the perfect name for a brand of cigarettes made & marketed for children.

Also, wow, things sure got racist fast.

Which region version are you playing? The NA version calls them "Minor Victory".

Also, THIS IS COLUMBIA!

Sorry, must have had straight-edge hard-core bands on the brain! You're correct.

That painting in the John Wilkes Boothe/Crow place was...interestingly powerful?
