...and thanks to this damn thread I'm downloading Tera again now. I was able to get in game before finishing the download thanks to their nifty downloader, but the game was horribly laggy while I was trying to play and download at the same time. About all I could do was grab the stuff that didn't sell from the AH and verify that not only do I have Founder's status but I also get the nifty gold weapon skins for buying the game during it's first month of release. I only paid twenty-five bucks for it from Amazon, so I'd say I got the best of the deal. I was a bit annoyed to find out that I had to rename my character though.

I'm on Ascension Valley. I have a level 30 Mystic (Raheli), 30 Slayer (Inlee) and 26 Lancer (Holiday). I'll probably run Holiday through a bunch of SM instances and decide who I want to move forward first into the next chapter. Anyone is free to friend me or find me in game and bother me. Too lazy to look up who is where but I thought we had someone on a PvP server and someone else on the RP server.
Just for Bean, I'll note that Holiday doesn't have a hot ***.

Speaking of gold, I like how they did gathering professions. In that you get a nice little buff that encourages you grab things you come across. Now if my character would stop cheering "Woo!" and jumping into the air every time she picked a flower life would be perfect.

I like that harvesting even without crafting has a purpose as well, but yeah the sounds they make (More like "Ooooh, Ahh" to me) are almost as annoying as constant horse jump sounds. Almost but not quite.

Far Cry 3 is pretty cool so far though. Playing that now since I finished the Skyrim X packs.

TERA will be free starting on February 5th 2013. - That's my excuse.
Does that include Dragonborn? I haven't got that dlc yet, I've barely played the Home and Vampire dlc (though not that there is much to play in the hearth one). FC3 continues to look great on every review/video I see of it... some day I may even buy it.

Yeah I played Dragonborn. It has a whole new Island to explore which is pretty cool. Some nifty new shouts, weapons, and armor sets as well.
I played FC2 recently to get me prepped for FC3. FC3 fixes most of what I did not like about FC2, even though I enjoyed FC2 overall. Plus the richness of the story and characters in FC3 is a nice bonus so far on top of the epic sandbox island.
I'm even enjoying hunting down the wildlife to craft ammo pouches and stuff.
Oh and if your trying to stealth into a Outpost to find the alarm so you can sniper rifle it and you hear a growl over your left shoulder...
You're probably already dead. The fugging Tigers are brutal lol.

The tigers are a slight annoyance, it's the Komodo Dragons you have to watch out for. They move in teams of two, blend into the foliage, barely make any sound, and constantly respawn next to you. They're like the cougars and bears from Red Dead Redemption.
