Is pretty ******* spectacular. I'll keep this as spoiler free as possible, but basically, I'm attempting to RP as someone who will only try to kill those that actually dishonored me (while trying to non lethally deal with others).

It's pretty ******* hard to do, even on normal. I seem to be spending half my time sneaking around, incapacitating people, then moving & piling their bodies in out of the way places. It was working well until a tall boy rounded a corner just as I was placing a 3rd body in my current pile. It did not end well.

Downloaded last night, but haven't had a chance to play yet.

I'm quite psyched for it. Been waiting for this one for a while. Ever since Bioshock Infinite was delayed, really.

Read some reviews and it looks pretty good. I have too many games to play so I'll wait for the price to drop, but I assume it's best for the PC?

From what I've heard, the PC version is well superior to the console versions. I don't know how the development actually occurred but it supposedly feels more like a bad console port of a PC game than a PC port of a console game.

Linky should help. I only skimmed it, but it seems like PC is generally superior.

This game is on my list, but at this point, I've probably got a good six to eight month backlog...

Yeah, Zam auto sizing is weird. Clicking through still works, though.

Early impressions:

Play it.

It's pretty fantastic. I recommend just running around & exploring on your first play through, save often, & play how you would play. Once you're somewhat familiar with the game, then immerse yourself in it by turning off various HUD options & try for a "low" chaos rating.

I, personally, have way more fun getting the high chaos rating & killing dudes the first time through. I'll worry about being sneaky & getting the "good" ending on try #2. Given your options, not only the game but each mission is infinitely replayable.

Been too busy with XCOM and Retro City Rampage. Seriously having a love affair with Lumines. Went out and picked up the original two on PSP and the PS2 version last week and the Vita version has gotten more play from me than any other game so far on the system.

To actually be relevant and on topic...

This along with the two AC3 games were the other must gets for me this month. I'm probably going to wait until I can get it at a discount closer to Christmas. My brother just got it today and said it was "freakin' awesome."

Worth buying? I do like Bethesda (in general) but I'm kinda leery about shelling out a lot of cash for a game that, from what I've read, doesn't feel all that "long." Skyrim spoiled me; it would be a huge let-down to go from 200+ hours on a game to like 12.

Depends heavily on playstyle. Playing with a modicum of stealthiness, and taking a little time to explore the levels a bit really beefs up the experience (and that's the natural way that I play, anyway). 20+ hours is basically a foregone conclusion for me, and I've heard some say that they easily cleared 30. I'm also playing on very hard without any HUD, which extends things, and is also awesome.

Rush straight to your objectives, kill anyone in your path, and skip the details, and I hear it can be done in around 4 hours.

But there's a lot of replayability here, too. I'll definitely be doing a 2nd, and probably 3rd playthrough, and that seems to be the common sentiment.

So I'd say it's a pretty meaty experience. But there's nothing wrong with waiting for a price drop, if that's your thing. The game is very good, but it's not life-changing.

Finished on ~28 hours, and I'm not even done exploring.
