Who's getting it and for which platform? I played the first one by myself on PC, and I want to see if anyone else is getting the sequel. Maybe we can form a Zam Co-Op team or two.

When I buy it, it will be either PC or X360.

I'll buy the GoTY edition for five bucks on Steam two years from now.

That's my plan too.

Also intending to do just that. Only recently picked up 1 for a cheap 20 euros and I'm thoroughly enjoying that for the moment. I'd probably love 2, aswell, but since there's a metric ton of games I want coming, I'd best just wait.

If anyone wants to play 1 with me for PS3, lemme know. I'd like me some multiplayer action, but I'm never much for random people.

360 and I am going to wait till the price drops a smig. I enjoyed the first and the second seems to be just like it but with more awesome. That said I am probably going to go with Zero as my character.

Is the multiplayer worth it to pick up at/near launch?

I've been playing the first solo, so don't really know the current state, but I'd imagine there are a fraction of the people in MP now than originally.

The multiplayer is definitely better at launch, since the number of enemies and chances for rare weapons increase the more people you play with. Plus it's much more fun to try and take down huge enemies (like Skagzilla from the first game) with other players.

Time to resurrect this thread since the game launch is on Tuesday in the U.S. Anyone pick up the PC version of the game, and if so are you interested in forming a co-op team with other people from the forum?
