Played about twenty minutes so far.

Best game of the year.

Just to verify, this game is 100% music, zombie slaughter, and fan service, correct?

And funny quips.

Only costumes I got were the Gamestop preorder ones.

Reviews seem generally favorable (you can dismiss the Quarter to Three one off hand; the guy is a troll).

I suppose it appeals to anyone who likes camp? I'm clearly not the target demographic, but enjoy.

Side question: I feel like people who like camp are insanely easy to please. It seems like it's very hard to ***** something up when you're deliberately making it as dumb and nonsensical as possible. Is there some kind of nuance that I'm missing? Honest question.

PS: I've got a photo of the girl who they've had in-costume from E3. I'll dig it up when I get a chance later. I hear she's nice.

According to an article I read all the anime costumes that were available by pre-ordering the JP version are unlockable in the NA/EU versions.

This one has better pics of the bonus costumes:

Came out today. I'll probably get it when it drops to $20, just got No More Heroes last week and I'm still working on it.

Hang on. Immagonna sniff and talk about how PC is the only valid gaming platform.

Looks like I did find a flaw in the game, though I'm not exactly sure. It looks to be a really short game. We're talking like two days of casual play here. I ended at stage 3 yesterday. Though there is a crapton of achievements and a New Game+ option, so at least there's a bit of replay value there.

Camp is weird. There's such a thin line between entertaining and annoying that it almost isn't even there. I'm all for ridiculous and cheap, but if it appears the movie is just going from one gag to another without any effort to the rest of the movie then I find myself changing the channel.

Because these movies rarely ever make it to the theaters.

Toxic Crusader was pretty good in that balance, whereas Jersey Shore Shark Attack was just ... bad. It just didn't work. The Nightmare on Elm Street movies (Dream Warriors to Freddy's Dead) were good with a good balance of seriousness and ridiculousness.

I only play when I'm not doing anything important.

Like at work defending the country.

So stopping a zombie outbreak isn't counted as defending the country? What kind of twisted world do we live in?

I try to requisition a chainsaw but the supply sergeant just looks at me funny. Smiley: frown

Nevermind the looks the medic gives when I try to get said chainsaw attached to my arm ...

You have to remember though Ash did the attachment himself, so you'll probably want to hit the machine shop when it's empty. Bring a tourniquet and a mop.

The anime fan in me loves that they have costumes from Kore wa Zombie desu Ka, High School of the Dead, and Deadman Wonderland.

The fact that I don't have a console to play this makes me Smiley: glare though.

If I had, I'd have probably gotten that chainsaw.

Beaten. Let's say like ten hours if your goal is to beat the game and not so much achievement oriented. New Game+.

Apparently I got the Bad Ending. Smiley: frown
