These graphics may actually make my computer explode--should be fun to test out.

It should be noted that even with relatively weak graphic cards the game is still playable. Sure you won't be able to see everything in high def glory but the way they handled loading people and npc's allows for a smoother game play than one would expect.

At least that how it was a month ago. Will find out if it is still like that once it finishes patching itself.

It is a fun game, no doubt about it. Very action-y. If you are really good you can do things that are really impressive, if you lack said skill you will struggle. That said different classes feel different and actually play differently. People in plate move slower than leather and cloth. If you use a big weapon you attack slower. All the good stuff.

16 hours to patch..god i hope that is wrong -.-

ugh..only been gone 2hrs..and its at 14hours. fuuuuu.
Guess ill get to try it out tomorrow. I've been following the game for years so I know what is up, but I still want to give it a character create run through, and controls.

I just started. Did not get time to play last night. Ima female Castanic warrior. glomp.

Game looks amazing so far. I started off trying to use my xbox joystick but went back to KB for now. The fact that I have a built in option makes me really happy.

And Sand I dunno why yours is so slow. Maybe you just waited to long. When I DLed it Wednesday night it was screaming in at over 3MB/S.

I even turned off wireless and went wired. Still at like 11 hours XD (jumps up when I basically do anything else). Maybe it is time to see how much more the next 'net speed package...

yea. p2p is on, and both are set to unlimited.

I took my warrior to level 12 and got off noob island. I like the class I find it quite fun. I'm working on an archer on another server now just to try it out. So far I think you may be right it is strong early on and I am speeding through mobs like crazy.

But I don't mind that.

I've tried Lancer, Archer and Sorcerer(?).
I do not like the prologue...you don't really do anything but fight that one semi-large group with the NPC and then the boss (because if you climb up the ladders, engage a zombie, and then jump off back into the water...by the time you climb back up they will be dead. Attacking seems to trigger the NPC soldiers to attack XD) and then you lose all your abilities. You just get a glimps at what you can be o.O

I found I like controller play more than keyboard, but that is due to using a game-pad rather than my keyboard (I don't have the F keys on it, so I was basically not using half my skills >.>). I never did find out how to change the option between the 2 once you had started and made the pick.

The servers were full to try other classes so that is all I got to try out. Will keep an eye on it and it may be something I pick up and play in a few months.

It's just a preview to see some of your higher level skills for the beta. My archer is off noob island now in about half the time it took my warrior. Things like Kugai and Karacha were gravy on the archer.

Between piercing shot and Volley archer is beast. Enjoying the game so far.

I can see mystic being some pretty good soloing potential as well. Not as much output as an archer but decent at least at low level and nice heals and mana regen.

Funniest thing I saw yesterday was a mystic named Balls.everwhere. I got off the pegasus after leaving the island and the entire courtyard and stairway into the city was filled with mystic balls. Some other mystics even decided to help his art project. It ended up looking great and at the end he decried:

"Are you not entertained by my balls!?!"

Should be today. Early access starts this week/end with the gaming coming out on the 1st.
