I'd probably have dedicated more attention to it than the squirrel that has taken up residence outside my window if the article didn't seem to base it's entire theory of video games not being detrimental to society on Skyrim alone.

I read this in the morning before work. Most of it I already knew but some of the insider stuff about Skyrim was pretty cool. Also always nice to re-affirm that my love of games is not an outside the norm thing anymore.

Although my subset of game interests is still towards the nerdier end of the spectrum I would imagine, as opposed to pure FPS, dance dance games, or Madden.

It's an odd article. It becomes less dedicated to Skyrim around page 5/6 and switches to the "Are games art?" question.

The problem is that, reading the whole thing, I kinda feel lost. I have no idea what the point of the article was...
