Wish I had preordered a Vita. Even though none of the launch titles are MUST GET for me, I wish I had one right now. Oh well, back to Adventure Time. Guess I'll wait until next week like all the other schmucks. Smiley: frown

Meh, the only game I'm interested in is Uncharted, and that's not worth spending 350 dollars to play.

It's sooooooo shiny.

I'm not usually a technophile. I don't own a tablet and I still have my HTC Incredible from 2010. I'm pretty excited about the future of this little monster.

HAs there been any change to the PS One Classics compatibility. I will buy one, but only when I can play those games on the go. (granted I can already on my PSP but why carry 2 handhelds around...)

There was an article on Kotaku today that had an interview with someone from Sony at Dice. They're adding compatibility for more PSP games first. They had intended to have PSX compatibility from the start but didn't work out.

If a monster hunter game comes States side, I might think about getting one.
I bought the psp on day 1, and it just turned into a Emulator for old games. Heck I see my psp and it has a nice layer of dust on it...
None of the release games look good to me, or that I feel I have to play.

I'm waiting for it to become at least as useful as my PSP before investing in it. Currently, that's a pretty high hurdle.

I thought this was just another variation of the PSP when I first heard about it. Not a single game on this system right now I have any interest in. Honestly I think I am just getting old and outgrowing a lot of games. IT takes more and more for a game to keep me interested enough to play through it now a days. I have yet to actually buy a 3DS game for my 3DS. Thought I was going to like that Resident Evil game but after playing the demo it was crap controls and I didn't even bother finishing the demo. I had actually planned on selling my 3DS off and about the time I went to do it they lowered it down to $170 (I bought mine on launch). About the only games I play anymore is SW TOR and every so often I play the older Genesis/NES/SNES/Atari.

Really enjoying it so far. The system is very responsive, fluid, and easy to use. I have big hands and I don't feel like I have to delicately hold it even though it is pretty light. I adapted very quickly with not touching the back touchscreen. I kind of went on a bender with the games and picked up:

Rayman
Uncharted
Lumines
Marvel VS Capcom 3
I also downloaded copies of Katamari (Vita version), Super Stardust, and Final Fantasy Tactics from PSP. I have only invested time so far in Lumines, Katamari (most of my play time), and Stardust. I briefly played UMvC3 but will wait to come back to that after reading into some character moves/combos. I haven't played any fighting games since MvC2 back in the Dreamcast days so That will likely be some practice.

Overall, I'm very happy with the system and I don't even mind the cost I paid for the 32GB memory card since it will likely pay for itself in the future through digital download savings. I highly recommend it.

The onscreen keyboard is also awesome. I can't praise the screen enough. Cross game chat is also great. The only drawback is the battery life, but let's @#%^ing be honest, when are you not near an outlet, USB, or car cig lighter to recharge? I bought the WIFI version and have it tethered to my rooted HTC Incredible when not by my router at home.

Blah, blah, blah rampant fanboism. Go read the reviews, they typically are heaping a lot of praise on the system.
