I REALLY wish they had gone F2P with Storm Legion. They probably could have made the game super successful if they rode that hype. Everyone was rating the expansion extremely well. If it had come in as a Free to Play launch (rather than a $30 price tag on a sub game), I imagine they would have gained quite a few new players.
Also noteworthy is the fact that there's already a ton of cosmetic and "casual" systems, like house-building, in place that would be perfect for a micro-transaction system.
Well, I hope it does well nonetheless. It's probably going to be one of the most polished F2P games out there. I hope it doesn't fall prey to TOR-style over-monetization.

I played Rift for a while when it first came out, and was pretty impressed with Trion. Just go afk in game, you'll get kicked to character select and time out there also but Raptr will still think you're in game. Woke up this morning to SL + Core game + 30 days time

Speaking of GamersGate Mass Effect 1 its kind of a hassle to add it to Origin, you have to talk to a CSR(live chat) and they had me log into my Pogo account (had for years) then add that pogo account to my EA profiles (Which is nifty it had all my accounts I ever used at EA in one place, even ones I forgot i had, like my Battlefield Heros I played for a few weeks.) Then they will add the game to your origin account.

I bought the three month package a couple of times, so I should have enough time in to get the shinies for the paying customers. It's too bad that I really don't care enough about Rift anymore to actually play it though. They built a pretty decent game world, with decent, if somewhat cliched lore, and you can customize your characters abilities more than most MMOs will allow. But the whole damn thing is way too grindy. After I realized how much much time it would take to just get the crafting recipes I wanted, I just gave up on the whole thing.

Clear Sky is widely considered the weakest of the Stalker titles. But the other two weren't published by Deep Silver.
Today's GG EA special is Sims stuff. Go look at it yourself, it's a bunch of Sim 3 expansions and I don't play or care about Sims 3 to know what's good/cheap.

Hmm Interesting, I beat Person 3 Portable but was stuck in Person 3 FES. The anime scenes are better in FES, the gameplay is better in Portable. Only because you can control your other teamates in portable, in FES they are AI controlled. I would buy FES again if I didnt just sell my PS3( I didnt sell my games or account, they only wanted the PS3 + controllers for 150)
You better go to the Playstation website and change your login otherwise they will be able to purchase games with your account, since you didn't take out or factory reset the hard drive. Or did you?
