Amazon is supposed to have Scribblenauts Unlimited for $9 ($9.49? $8.99? $9.99?) on Thursday in case you're a dollar away from eating cat food but still really want Scribblenauts.

I liked Dead Island. I played as the guy with the bat & found the melee combat to be more interesting than in just about any FPS I've played. Really wish Skyrim had combat similar to Dead Island's.

The combat was good but wasn't challenging, you could pretty much spam the kick/weapon attack combo and never get hit. You should download the "Director's Cut" mod, which invokes? classic zombie movie rules on the combat system.

You can get the new SimCity (both Win and Mac versions) from Gamefly for $32 if you use code GFDAPR20.

Farcry3: Blood Dragon is available for pre-order on Steam for $15, and from the look of it you definitely want to pick it up. It's a standalone game, so the original Farcry 3 is not required.

I'm at work so not watching the video but I'm guessing it's not an open world setting like Far Cry 3 and more of a kitschy 80's-future inspired shooter based on the same engine?

Concept seems fun and FC3 was a good game. No pre-order incentive aside from the soundtrack though.

Too bad GMG doesn't sell Ubisoft games in North America. Be a nice candidate for a 20% off voucher.

Read it was supposed to be about 8 hours in length on an area about the size of FC3's second island. So not super long or large but not bad for $15. I'd think the joke would get old after 8 hours anyway and wouldn't really want to play a 40 hour version.

It's cheap enough to pre-order and not feel bad about it but, without any real incentives (I never listen to game soundtracks) I'm also inclined to sit and wait for a sale on it.

It's a FPS using the Far Cry 3 engine and thematically based off 1980's era action/sci-fi films and cartoons. Takes place in the "future" year of 2007. Aside from that, you'll want to watch the trailer when you can since nothing I could say would do it justice.

If you bought an AMD "Never Settle" promo card (or a video card and got the promo) for Bioshock & Tomb Raider/Crysis, they're adding FC3 Blood Dragon to the promotion.

If you have an Android device, Amazon has Scribblenauts Remix for it for a buck. Not sure if that's the normal price or an intro price as it just came out.
