GMG has a 30% off voucher GMG30-DEC01-ARFC9 good through the weekend. Works on pre-orders and Guild Wars 2 as well as the usual games.

GMG also has an offer for a 35% off voucher if you pre-order a game but you have to pay full price for the pre-order and can not stack the 30% discount and get another 35% voucher.

God dammit. I didn't see Joph's post, obviously. I think I was a page behind or something? I don't know, I just rowed a race and was exhausted.

I'm hoping the editor's choice selection in January on Amazon has something good for a decent price. I've got a handful of these 5 dollar off promos waiting in my email.

I downloaded my copy of Crayon Physics. Played through the first Island. Quite a bit different than it used to be (remember playing it when it first came out from a post here on Zam).

I tried out the Big Picture (not really on a big picture though, just on my monitor). I think it's kind of neat. Not exactly useful to me right now but the seemed fluid and easy to use.

It's not bad on my 32inch that I use, I like the typing wheel its so much more fluid then controller typing (though I'll still most likely use the keyboard), but nice. I like where they are going with it.

I have to admit, FC3 seems a lot more interesting since I watched that 10-minute trailer.

I have Borderlands 1 and 2 to get through, plus a not insignificant backlog of games. I'll get FC3 when it's much, much cheaper.

FTFW

I think most people in this thread are having the same problem as me, see a great deal buy a game and place it somewhere on our "I'll play this soon as I beat <Insert games here>. We're suckers for good deals. I know for a fact I have at least a few months backlog between Steam games, PS Plus Freebies, PS3 games. Honestly I prefer Steam games as the urge to trade them in is completely gone, I already beat Batman AS and AC and I still bought em cheap on Steam because I know sooner or later I'm going to want to play them again and instead of paying w/e price they are at the time from a used dealer and having to buy the DLC etc I can just download it via Steam and boom done. Unfortunately my current game is taking up much of my time (WoW) so my whole list is on hold, I'm trying to get a few hours a week to play other things though but yeah.

Between WoW and Dota 2, I wonder why I even bother buying other games.

I have a large backlog but it looks worse on paper than it is because it's populated with tons of indie bundle titles where I bought for Game #2 & 5 and got games #1, 3,& 4 with it. My backlog on AAA titles is a lot shorter.

I'm on a moratorium for new games though until I knock at least a couple recent AAA titles off the list. Dishonored, Darksiders II, Sleeping Dogs, maybe Max Payne 3. But I just started Far Cry 3 last night so... you know...

In my defense, FC3 came with my video card so I didn't pay for it

Oh that reminds me I never finished Sleeping Dogs.

I still have ME 1&2, Bioshock 1&2, and most of the Summer Sale's THQ bundle that I've barely gotten past the start menus on. Borderlands 1, I'll probably just stop when I finish the first playthrough. BL2 has been pretty fun, but I might move on after the first playthrough of that as well, just because I have a bunch of other games.

I have a number of PS3 titles I never finished, too.
