BTW anyone have CoD:BO2. I really liked the feel of the guns in MW1-3 I felt they had impact, but I realy disliked WAW and BO (I could deal with BO alittle) I felt in the Treyarch games I was shooting a pellet gun, the bullets seems to do overall less dmg and give no impact, people felt more "bullet spongie".

Is BO2 any better in this regard? This is mainly a multiplayer gripe not really a PVE(Zombies/Story) issue

I was in the beta for it, 2 things I didnt like were red dot/flashlight blindness and getting killed from no where.
Btw I'll try everything before I decide not to like it, I had Origin installed, I just didn't like it or the possibilities it held over my games library if I even made a mistake.

Since there's BF3 talk I've been playing it on the PC for a while. If you add me to your friends list (Slippy1st) I'll be more than happy to ignore you.

$55 seems to be the settled "Buy It Now" mark for the Bioshock: Infinite/Tomb Raider bundle on eBay. Not a bad deal for $110 worth of games at release. Assuming you intend to play them immediately, of course -- no good to backlog them until they're 66% off on Steam.

Provided you'll use the blue coins, that's a good deal. Even better if you have the 20% Comp discount. Amazon changed their BS:I offer to $30 in 2K credit after release. Too many people buying the pre-order, using the initial $15 credit and canceling the order.

We warned the rep that would happen but he wanted to try it anyway in the vain hope the internet wasn't completely made up of scammers. Now they have the data to the contrary.

Don't bother with sniping in BlOps2. It's only manageable in 3 maps and, all 3 leave you out in the open when you try to snipe.

My impression (from watching my brother play on his 360) is that sniping is fairly useless in general. Guns seem relatively accurate at long range, so assault rifles handle distances almost as well as snipers.

Almost makes me wish I didn't own all the Dragon Age series!

Speaking of which, I watched the movie "Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker" last night. It was TERRIBLE. Do not watch it; it looks like the final project of an undergraduate graphic design student.

I stand corrected, I just received the card in the mail yesterday. It was pre-scratched though, so maybe I should return it for a replacement.

I have Mirror's Edge for xbox, loved the game- is there any worthwhile reason (mods or such) to pick it up for PC?

I haven't finished Alice because I have the attention span of a sparrow when it comes to gaming. But I enjoyed it when I was playing it (got something like 60% complete) and plan to finish it up some day.

Bulletstorm I played twice before deciding it was ass.

man if they gave a code that would allow me to DL nightsky on my 3ds I would be all over that, but I don't have a lot of interest in playing small games like that on my computer... can barely make time for playing AAA titles on my PC

Change that to my Galaxy Nexus and I'm right there with you. I own a decent number of them. I've played very, very few. The reality is that, if I'm in a gaming mood and at my PC, I'm going to end up playing the big titles. Particularly because I tend to buy games that have replay value, which also leads to my other games being woefully unfinished.

Mass Effect and Dragon Age have easily absorbed the majority of my gaming time in the past 2-3 years or however long it is since I first played them. Add on the various MMOs I might end up playing (at the moment, LotRO, RIFT, TOR, and sometimes EVE). Then we have other big titles I have yet to finish, but fully intend to, like Portal 2, Kingdoms of Amalur, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

On top of THOSE we have the big titles that you don't so much finish as never stop playing, like Civ V and Torchlight. Plus solid Indie RPGs like Trine and Bastion.

And, well, that doesn't leave much time for Machinarium, LIMBO, NightSky, Samorost 2, Dear Esther, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, and Vessel (to name the ones in my Steam library that are popping out at me).
