If you missed Witcher 2 on the Steam sale, The Witcher 1 & 2 are bundled for $17 on GOG.com

GOG is run by the publisher of The Witcher. Copies are not Steam activated but are DRM free.

Just because I'm the only person talking doesn't mean I'm going to stop! Just ask my wife.

Saints Row 3 is a Steam flash sale. If you were planning on getting the Amazon $9.99 deal tomorrow, you can still buy any DLC you might want for 75% off through Steam today. Just select "Gift to be delivered later" to put it in your inventory. Common wisdom seems to be the Season Pass, the Funtime pack and perhaps the Purple Spec Ops packs being the best but I haven't played so don't take my word as gospel.

I'd be surprised if someone in the world doesn't have Saints Row 3 yet.

tempted to get LA Noire. I've only rented it before and it was pretty fun (i enjoyed the setting), but it kind of got a little redundant with the "You're lying!" dialogue.

I regret buying LA Noire. Graphically it's fairly impressive, but the game play is boring and repetitive. You can only wonder around a crime scene so many times before you just don't care anymore.

IGN had a good review of E.Y.E.

Also, I picked up Dear Esther. It was worth the three bucks or whatever, but I probably wouldn't pay more than that. It's a mindscrew focused solely on plot. It's gorgeous - especially the sequences inside the cave, but dont' go in expecting gameplay. It's a narration. That said, it's not a bad narration at all. I rather enjoyed it. It's told in a fairly non-linear format, though. Just know what to expect going in. I liked it myself, and others will if you enjoy a game with a good story.

Also, the soundtrack is gawgeus.

Looks like I'll pass on EYE--no real loss.

Portal 2 is a 75% off flash-sale. Gettit if you haven't. If you've been living under a rock and haven't played the first, you can buy a sale bundle.

Amanita Bundle is a flash sale. I've seen at least 2 of the 3 games included discussed and praised on these forums, so I'm guessing it's worthwhile.

Darksiders is $4.99 on GMG. Use voucher code COSYO-UDIDN-TGET1 for another 20% off and bring it down to $3.99

Activates on Steam.

Same deal with Metro 2033 -- bring it down to $3.99
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (sigh) is $5.99 after voucher.

They post that message when their servers get flooded. Same thing happened when they had Skyrim for 50% off 4-5 months ago.

Believe it or not i'm intrigued by the current voting choices. All three of the RPGs are games ive come really close to buying in the past. I voted for Divinity 2 though, anyone have any experience with the three games?

I own all three (Steam gave them to me for free), but only played Two Worlds II and Risen.

I enjoyed Two Worlds II much more than Risen since I thought it was more RPG-ish (more loot, skill points, leveling up) where as everything in Risen was more much gold-oriented. In order to raise skills, you'd need to pay to train them. Combat was easier in Two Worlds II, resulting in a lot less death.

Both games are absolutely huge and look amazing. You'll easily put in 60+ hours just to play through once and the games are open enough to warrant several playthroughs if you like trying different builds.

Divinity II looked like a FF game to me (somewhat open, but more directed than the others), but since I haven't played it, I can't comment.
Oh, and Risen II is apparently awful according to reviews, so that may or may not affect your decision (I buy games all the time because of newly released sequels).

I don't really care for the flash deals and voting portion this year, but I guess after all the problems with using achievements last sale, Steam couldn't repeat that again. Most of these deals are ones that either come up a lot and/or are already being offered as the daily deal. Since it's not uncommon for someone to miss a single day of the daily deals, I almost fail to see the point of the flash deals. Maybe we could vote for one game for a 24 hour sale that wasn't going to be a daily deal...
