I usually do the same. What made me change my mind here was that my backlog isn't tempting me at the moment, and I've been in the mood for a turn based strategy title. XCOM can fill the void until SimCity.

Um. its 19.99 at GMG Right now AND you can use the 20% off Code GMG20-P4DLK-FKYRS to get it for 16.00 even. And I'm unsure about this but you might still be able to claim the 30% off code for the DLC, least that was the deal yesterday.

As of The Farewell to February deal. I've only seen a handful of decent discounts:
GTA4:Complete + LA Noire Complete for Black Ops 2 is decent (34.99 before 25% off coupon) . Since COD games seem to NEVER go on sale.

BTW I just want to point out the 25% off seems to apply to Preorders also. So if theres a game coming out in a few weeks you're interested in and don't mind risking your money (A:CM anyone?) goodluck. I'm going to head over to the FF11 forums and give them a heads up since the new expansions are in there.

It seems I was wrong, but The new FFXI Preorder just has a hidden discount on it (-10 for Ultimate, -7.50 for Normal)

Can Anyone confirm this for me? The discount doesnt show up til the page you put in a coupon code.

Yeah, they're doing some other promotion starting tomorrow with Bioshock: Infinite pre-orders and I think they're trying to tie the carry-over benefits from that ($15 credit) into the Farewell to February sale. Which means the FTF base sale prices aren't especially aggressive.

OK Now I'm confused, So I decided to just look around more of the preorders. It's autoapplying that CAGROCKS 25% off code to everything now, or something. I decided to go check out the New Tombraider and I click confirm and I get this.
I'm not sure if its a website coding error or if the CAGROCKS code actually works for preorders. Im so confused.

That would explain it. That was the 2nd game I checked (Bioshock:Inf) and it wasn't applying. So I assumed it didn't work. Meh.

Guys, I got the discount when I redid my Seekers expansion order (smiles at BeanX). Thanks guys! Now I got about $13.51 left in gift cards when I'd of had less than $5 left before. I'll save that for something else. :)

Dead Islands is kind of like Duke Nukem Forever, you almost have to give it away so people will play it. I was excited for it because of the trailer then played it and was so disappointed I put it down after 5 mins and never looked back.
Still putting in for the drawing reward because free is free

The difference between the two is that I actually finished Dead Island, and started another playthrough as a different character. You should download the "Director's Cut" mod, it makes a lot of improvements to the game and ups the difficulty.

Joph; the EU players are raging already b/c there is NO PREORDER for them yet for Seekers and Square Enix EU has been silent.

Don't ask me what's up with that but hopefully it'll get fixed in time for the release.

I didn't find it to my liking honestly, but I was super excited because of the trailer. I mean everyone has their own likes or dislikes, but I'm not the only one that wanted it to be 'great' because of the hype train and found it to be only 'pretty good'. Not saying your wrong, for your opinion, just saying mine differs.
