I can vouch for Closure and Shank 2, they're both quite good if you're into their respective genres.

Worth noting that Dungeon Defenders & Legend of Grimrock are BTA games. Currently you need to pay at least $6 to get 'em.

Amazon has started to populate its 2012 Editors Choice list. These are the games that the $5 coupons will apply towards in January. Note that the prices shown are the current prices; last year they put the stuff on rotating sales throughout the month and allowed you to stack the coupons on top of that.

Yeah Valve has been doing some really odd things recently. Having stuff like ArtRage 3 is one thing, green lighting unfinished games as finished games is another. It really makes me wonder what they plan on doing with Steam.

It's the first day of a two and half week sale. I didn't really expect them to come out of the gate with their best deals. I don't expect anything particularly good until after Christmas.

I didn't expect them to come out of the gate with an art utility instead of a game Smiley: tongue

Race: the WTCC Game is a whole buck nineteen down from a base price of $51 if you're into racing games at all.

Dawn of War Franchise Bundle is $20 for a whole lotta stuff and DLC. Don't get the "Complete Pack" which has less stuff and is $10 more.

Amazon will have Scribblenauts Unlimited for 75% off from the 24th through 26th.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat on that one.

Right now I'm just keeping an eye out on that one Carpe Fulgur game I didn't grab over the summer. Reading about it last month on TVTropes made it sound more interesting.

I'd blame the developer of The WarZ more than valve. Valve pulled it pretty quickly & I wouldm't be surprised if even the "finished" product doesn't make it back on to steam.

The WarZ isn't the only greenlight issue, although it's the most public. There was some issue with Towns being released, despite being in Alpha/Beta. I bought it shortly before it went live on Steam knowing the state of the game and was very surprised to see it released on greenlight, knowing how unfinished it was.

Aye, WarZ was just the most recent public outcry. It should also be noted that they didn't pull it until there was quite a large outcry against it, petitions and all. It does raise the question why games like Towns and WarZ are getting greenlight but actually complete indie games are struggling to be noticed.
