My List is:
Xcom:EU - Been wanting to play.
Dark Souls PC- Liked the first one on PS3
Jet Set Radio HD(Dreamcast Collection) - Loved the soundtrack and game back in the day
Batman: AC Harley's Revenge DLC
PS3:
Shadow of the Colossus/Ico HD Collection - Nostalgia/Bundle Priced
Rachet and Clank HD Collection - Nostalgia, on sale for 15 bucks
Jake and Dexter HD Collection - Nostalgia/Bundle priced
Assassins Creed 3 -Wife wanted to play it and her laptop can't handle it

There was a few more I really wanted to get but I just couldn't bring myself to empty my bank account more. I have a HUGE backlog of Games as it is to work through, and I'm caught up with the WoW bug so mainly these will sit be played later more than sooner.

I forgot to add Hitman: Sniper Challenge to my list! But that's okay because I suck anyway. also, I lost a lot of enthusiasm for playing with it after it turned out that I couldn't tie it to my copy of Absolution and actually use the rewards I was earning.

In other new, IndieGala 11 is live. Bunch of RTS combat games, a FPS in NecroVision: Lost Company and some of that Soviet-style Stalker/Metro charm with Cryostasis.

Check your Hitman game keys for a second key, there is supposed to be a code that enables the game to detect your Sniper Challenge save and then it unlocks everything for you. At least that's what the Gamefaqs PS3 Board says.

Also make sure you have a SquareEnix account and that you registered the Sniper Challenge game with it.

The Steam version of Absolution does not have the code required to register it on the SE site. The Steam key does not work, you need a code in the same format the Sniper Challenge key was in.

That's a sniper challenge code, duh Smiley: grin

It sounds like the "Authorized distributor" in North America for the Sniper Challenge pre-order offer was Gamestop. So when you bought through them, they gave you the code you'd need to link the games. Anyone else you'd buy through couldn't offer you the SC bonus.

I remember Steam offering the Sniper Challenge as well during the pre-order phase. Maybe you can contact tech support and tell them that you aren't getting the challenge perks after "re-installing" Absolution.

I picked up too much this time around...

KOTOR 2
Civ III, IV, and V+GodsKings
Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY + Batman Arkham City
Witcher 1 + 2
Fallout 3 GOTY
Fallout New Vegas
Skyrim DLCs (had main, just not the DLCs yet)
Hitman Sniper Challange (Free one)

I'm not sure I want to add up what I spent.

I also got a copy of Assassin's Creed III for "free" when I purchased my new SSD. Doesn't seem to be a Steam Code though... Ubisoft download? I'll have to look into it tomorrow.

I came up with 68 dollars.

I thought that same thing about The Witcher 2, and when I finally broke down and bought it, I regretted not playing it sooner. It's one of the best games I've played in recent years. I really need to go back and give it another play through with different choices.

Did you play the Witcher 1? Would you recommend it for those who haven't?

I played part of the first game after playing the two. I think I was spoiled by having early access to so many of the abilities early on in two that you don't have in one, so I didn't last long. Graphically, two is far superior and has much better voice acting. I didn't get far enough along in one to compare the storylines, but the story in two is one of it's strong points. It's game where your decisions actually matter and have a strong impact on world around you. My only real complaint for two is that the zones are mostly pathways that open into larger areas. There are no large open areas to explore. But, those areas are very detailed and look pretty damn good.

It sounds as though the benefits are only available in Absolution's "Contract challenges" anyway and not the core single player mission campaign.

I have to say that Absolution is the first stealth based game where I actually felt like "doing it right" vs shooting everyone in the face. Games like Deus Ex or Sniper Elite V2, I just sneaked around until someone saw me then went guns a-blazin'. Now it's like "-1250 points for being spotted? F-that noise... restart from checkpoint!"

I haven't played the previous games and understand some of the mechanics have changed in Absolution. I own Blood Money from that Amazon bundle a while back and will have to try that one later.

On the PC, I only snagged Kingdoms of Amalur.

I picked up a bunch of games on sale on PS3 including:
Max Payne 3
FFXIII-2
Sly Collection
Ratchet and Clank All for One
Another Ratchet game (not at home, don't remember the title)
Assassin's Creed 3
Borderlands 2
CoD MW2, Black OPS, and World at War

I think I snagged a few other things on sale from Wal-Mart but don't exactly remember what. I got a whole slew of blu-ray (like 10 movies and 32 or so seasons of shows including 1-4 of Breaking Bad, 1-4 Mad Men, and 1-5 of Dexter and a whole lot more).

Funnily enough, I got my copy of the Persona 4 Golden Solid Gold edition which I and started playing that on Saturday. I've put in 25 hours so far. My backlog is starting to get seriously ridiculous. It's five games long on Vita alone.

Do yourself a favor and don't play puzzle games when you have a backlog. I've put in most of my gaming time over the last few months into Lumines because I always have the intention of playing another game, but then don't feel like putting in the effort of starting.

How is it? I played the hell out of Persona 3 FES; had a blast with it. Never tried Persona 4, but I watched some of the anime.

I feel like before I answer your question, I should first explain my current state of mind with gaming. This will be short. I played FFXI for basically eight years. During that period I also tried other numerous MMOs like EQ2, WoW, LotR, EVE, a few others and some F2P games. FFXI has largely destroyed my love of conventional gaming. I still get excited about games, but when I start playing them, it feels more like a job than anything else. I want to be excited about games, but I feel permanently burnt out on them. Vita has been an absolute breath of fresh air for me. I still feel the same way about most games. I played Uncharted Golden Abyss for about five minutes before moving into Lumines. I still have yet to finish Gravity Rush, Disgaea 3, Rayman, Soundshapes, and a few other games. I've mostly played Lumines and Tactics: War of the Lions. I've put a lot of hours on my system since buying it at launch but it is still incredibly difficult to get excited, play, and finish games.

tl;dr

That said, Persona 4 Golden is an amazing. I actually got Portable 3 when it first went half off shortly after Vita launch but I didn't play it much (another victim of the blahs). Now I fully intend to go back and play it. I already have a moderate interest in anime so that is a plus. The game is just phenomenal so far. Without a doubt, this is the best RPG I've played since Fallout 3 and Final Fantasy IX (yes that's 9, not 11) before it. I can't recommend it highly enough. If you don't believe me, check its aggregate on metacritic:

Current 95% with 20 reviews.

If I didn't already have a Vita, this would be the system seller for me. This absolutely vindicates my purchase in every way. I have already gotten thousands of hours out of it though. Lumines is ridiculous addictive.

Traditionally, Humble Bundle has added extra games later that you get as well. So you might wind up with a free copy of Homefront of Nexiuz down the line.

I already own Darksiders and Saint's Row the Third, but I might still grab the bundle for Metro 2033. I've heard good things about the game, but I don't really want to spend much money on it.

...and bought. Since I'm not a complete as*hole, I paid more than the average even though I already own Saint's Row the Third. Which means I have a Steam code that I don't need. I'll give it the weekend here then post it on Steamgifts if no one claims it. First person to PM me gets it.
