They should "accidentally" put Skyrim on sale for $4.99 for five minutes and then "fix" the decimal to $49.99.

And then drink delicious rage tears.

Orcs Must Die! is supposed to be pretty good, sort of a third-person tower defense where you assist the towers. I bought it but haven't had the chance to play it yet. It doesn't have windowed mode, if that's a deal-breaker for anyone.

That bad?

My father keeps asking me about it. Duke Nukem was like the 1st and only PC game he played a liked.

It's not that it's that bad, it's that it's just not very good. After years and years of waiting, I don't think anything would have been able to live up to the hype, but the game that eventually got made was only average. Because of that it's gotten a worse reputation than it deserves. I'm not saying that it's great game, it's not. But it's also not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be.

I recommend him not playing the new Duke then. The only thing that really is the same from the past is the general type of enemies you have to kill, his one liners, and boobies. The game has a overall sense that the developing team was a group of chimps trying to create a game any half decent development studio could fart out in a year.

This sums it up nicely. Oh and NSFW and all that.

Edit: Somehow forgot to put boobies in there. Must have been distracted by some boobies somewhere in my thought process.

Already picked up a copy of Serious Sam for free... but the trailer with hundreds of Santas with guns running around make me want to play it.

I've heard some pretty good things about Limbo, but always that fifteen dollars was a bit on the high side. I don't know when I'll get around to playing it, but for $2.50 I see no reason not to get it.

I've already grabbed the GTA complete pack, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Portal 2, and TDU2, which doesn't seem to work all that well. I think I'm going to grab the Splinter Cell series, as well as The Witcher 2.

I'm actually in Vegas 2, sort of. When you find any exercise equipment take a good look at it.

Picked up Limbo, enjoyed it. Plays a lot like Braid if you picked that up from one of the humble bundles. Steam puts me at 3hours after I finished the game, but I have not earned many of the achievements, so it could probably turn into a 5 hour game if I aim for most of those.

Finishing off the sale...

Greed Corp: $2.49
Fable III: $24.99
Dead Space 2: $4.99 + franchise sales
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: $14.99
Driver: San Francisco: $24.99
Demolition Inc: $2.49
Red Faction: Armageddon: $16.99
Divinity II: $9.99
Europa Universalis III: $3.74 + franchise sales
Thief: Deadly Shadows: $4.99
Magic the Gather: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012: $3.99
Section 8: Prejudice: $3.74

Kind of a dull ending but the Christmas sale will be in a few weeks so they're probably keeping their powder dry (and our wallets filled) in anticipation...
