Mage Help, and Information, Advise... pleaseFollow

Hail all fellow EQOA'ers

I would like to start a Mage up and I wanted to resent information on the class, I have searched around other forums but they are pretty dated... I have a lvl 35 Shaman and I enjoy it but it takes FOREVER to kill a LB mob, defensive I am a beast and can def take a hit, but the dmg output is just terrible, and with the lack of grps, even doing H & G take forever...

SO, I want to try a Mage, I had one a long time ago and really enjoyed it.

Question is, what in your exp would be a solid good all around Mage?

what path?

what MCA?

I will mostly be Soloing, but also will also be searching for a group as well (thing is finding one)

any and all input would help!



SIDE NOTE= would you Recommend Enchanter class? are they good soloing/grp class?

dont want Alc, Wiz, Nec, pleanty of that already, and dont want to get PL to 60, lol
