Years of rick roll abuse have made me wary of clicking on any YouTube link without a clear explanation of what to expect.

A failed attempt at playing the game on the PS3. It shows nothing but the character moving around and leaving an image trail behind itself with.

His topic is telling you not to bother with DC Universe for the PS3 because it does not work.

Multiple Man, or Jamie Madrox. That was the name you were looking for OP.

It would have been more useful to have that information in the title and OP.

For example, a proper thread may have been formed using the following:

Title: Don't Bother with DCU for PS3
Content: After leaving an instance, my game became glitched and unplayable. After resetting my PS3, it has failed to correct itself, even after several hours. Here is a video of the glitch.

Shame. The original trailer for this game was excellent.

This is a good policy. After all, your well-being is in serious danger if you click a Youtube link and it ends up being a rickroll. Please continue to demand clear explanation of every link before you choose to explore it!

DCUO went FTP a couple of days ago. They got a much bigger response than they thought they would, they had some server issues on both the PS3 and PC sides. My step-daughter had issues with the PC end of it all weekend. They had to bring the game down several times. And even today, I think they're still working on some stuff.

But don't write it off just yet. It's a fun game. I played in the beta and I have a sub to it now. They just handled the FTP in a bad way. They'll get it fixed.

Hope they expand the servers or possibly open 2 more because the traffic their servers got was/is mad crazy. I downloaded it but was getting messages from a few who play it (before it went FTP) how bad the server Q and crashing was. I'm going to wait another week or so and hopefully the massive traffic will die down some, or they will expand the servers.

Ok, I just hopped on the game tonight on PC. I got right in, the game was smooth, lots of people playing. I ran through about 3 quests and remembered that it's a pretty fun little game. I think since the initial F2P rush has died down, it's doing well. You guys should try it again.

I agreed. Ive been playing for the last week, and some of the problems have gotten better. In game voice still sucks though even after the update.

Anyone on the Pc, Villians side, that plays feel free to pm me with your user name and Ill add you in game.

How are the PC controls? When it first came out I thought they would be rather iffy, but I haven't heard too many complaints about them.

Cool I added Pyxxi to my list, my villian is Fenrir Shade, kind of in a heavy pvp league so dont be shocked if I'm out killing heroes.

I personally dont use the keyboard, except to type. The controls are pretty standard for most things, but the minute I read the game was compatible with Xbox controllers, I hooked my MadCatz up and have had a much easier time grouping/raiding/pvp, everything. So that's an option for you as well.

We've got one wired Xbox controller around here, I might give that a go. But I don't think the keyboard and mouse is too awful, just takes getting acclimated once you've been playing a standard MMO.
