The ancestral lands are great. You find 100+ exp quoins, and a bunch of Favor coins.

You need to try and find a path that people aren't on, since you only have 10 minutes to stay in the area before getting kicked out. The bandits are very slow, and can be jumped over. They are really not dangerous, and they tell you what item they are after. "Oh know, he's gonna steal one of my 1000s of paper!".

The good thing is the Blue signs you tip over as you walk by. They contain time bonuses (extend your time in the area) and random good Food, Drinks, Colored Keys, and Items. You can enter the area every 30 minutes. Just hope you enter in a place/time where there aren't many. Pay it a visit when you are low on energy, since you get quoins worth 30-80 energy all the time. Mood quoins are a waste of the 100 daily limit, imo.

I started learning Better Learning IV right now. 36 hours... (after two 900+ favor donations). It'll be about 7:30am monday morning when I'm done with it.

They really need to do something with planks from the wood tree. I was stupid and planted one in my home, but there's only ONE recipe in the whole game that seems to make use of them. And a single harvest awards quite a few plans, which only stack to 250... I don't have the room for that. :(

Use them as donations?

I had a weird bug earlier when traversing the ancestral lands. The game froze, I reloaded, and the time limit was gone. I was free to roam the whole zone...

After a while though, every single spot was producing Jujus, and I hit my quoin limit.

I really want one of the 15,000 current cottages in the Meadow. 5 trees and 16 garden plots, plus a 32 storage closet. I'm saving up money and bags to get ready to move to a bigger place. Probably won't do it right away though. (And they probably won't ever go up for sale...)

I just received the Major Player achievement: "Played Glitch for a sweetly life-affirming 11 hours." I could have sworn I've only been playing for a couple hours. It sucked me in!

I'm saving up and moving out of my home by the end of the week. I've been selling everything I can get my hands on. Currently at 44k.

So if anyone is looking for a 4k tree house home in Tamila, it will have 6 pigs, 8 butterflies, a fruit tree and 2 spice plants.

Edit:
Plans got moved forward, I am now the proud owner of 1377 Pakodi Prim Quarter. 32 storage, 28 crop plots, 4 tree spots.

Making money was easy when I just vendored all my 100s of food items I got from RHK and harvesting eggs, spice, meat and milk. Then I sold off everything I couldn't carry.

Now I got a wood tree to nurish, I think I'll have to get my 1 of every tree type in a day quest done.

I've been focusing on getting the emblems to progress skills first. I'm almost completely done with it, which is nice. Only two more skills I really care about, I think. But as a result, all of my items have been going to donations.

I got all 11 emblems (and a copy of two or so). I spent a few for the stuff I needed, the rest are waiting for when I do.

I have quite a few skills learned. 42 including the 4 Better Learning skills. 38 Non-Learning.

I'm going to finish off a few of the smaller ones I need, then go get BL5 and be ready for the non Garden/Herd skills.

I decided to try this out against my better judgment, thanks to you guys. Sadly there's a two day waiting period for new invites.

I still have 3 invites. Do you want one?

Also, I didn't realize you needed an invite to play. I just signed up and started playing.

I finally managed to clear my wood tree--now I need to decide what else to plant. I'm leaning towards another fruit tree (so I'd have 2 fruit and a spice).

I just wish I had moved into a house with a dark patch, so I could plant an egg tree. >.< Oh well...

Bubble trees wouldn't be completely useless, but I feel like they've yet to really be developed. They are plentiful enough in the wild to fulfill all my bubble needs. And I'm not sure I understand what use gas trees are? I mean, each gas seems to be used in only one recipe... And I'm DEFINITELY not sure what purpose paper serves.

It's basically a social game based around exploration, crafting, and other players. Here's a link to my Beta review: http://www.zam.com/story.html?story=26231

Edit: Also, PM me an e-mail address and I can pass over an invite in about an hour and a half.

Until you reach about 10-12 hours of game play and realize you need to learn Better Learning 5.

Then start learning it and realize it's going to take almost 1 full week of real life time before you are done.

When I get home from work, I'm going to have to go on a Favor binge and start cutting time off. I've already turned in about 1500-2000 favor towards it, still have 5 days or so.

It's pretty much true. There's a bunch of stuff you can't do without the appropriate skills. If a skill's just going to make you better at something, you can hold off on it. But if it's required for another skill, or lets you do something new, then you are going to want it.

Nah, I've got enough work to do for the next few days that I wouldn't have the chance to play. Appreciate it though.

From the message on their website, it sounded like they're getting way more traffic than they anticipated.
