Welcome to the Upcoming RPG Release Date List!

I originally created this list for myself, but I think there are many other RPG fans out there that are watching the constantly shifting RPG release dates and would appreciated a central location to share information. Please feel free to post any dates or other RPG information that you think would be helpful to other RPG fans.

Please post your own reviews of recently released RPGs. Feel free to post which of the upcoming titles you are looking forward to most.

I am looking forward to Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Diablo III. Also planning to play Star Wars: The Old Republic.

While I don't have a review of anything recent, due to simply not having time for gaming, I do appreciate your effort to inform people like me of when games are coming out. Lists like this will make it easier to budget myself a little better so I can get games I might be able to enjoy in the future, and lets me be lazy about it by putting it all in one place.

Thank you.

Why isn't this in the MMORPG section? If I am not mistaken it should be. Other than that, great list and it introduced me to some games that I am now looking forward to.

Edit: Same with Guild Wars 2.

Minor pet peeve: Zelda is not an RPG. It's an action/adventure game.

Overall nice list; very helpful.

Also everything in the Bonus Dates list are not RPGs; just because they have an XP system it doesn't make them one.

Only 17? Slacker. ;)

I love me some RPG's, I have played virtually all of the titles on that list that are sequels.

Good call. I shifted the MMORPG up and the recent releases down and put these two under MMORPGs.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is really action/adventure but I'm going to let it slide.

The bonus dates are specifically not RPGs. I'll note that in case it's not clear. Thanks for the input everyone. It really is going to be a great year for gamers!

To be fair, AC:R is very nearly an RPG, especially if it continues to use Assassin recruits like in the last game. It just fits in the A/A category better.

Might want to add Tales of the Abyss (3DS, 2011), Zelda: Ocarina of Time (3DS, recently released), Final Fantasy: Type-0 (PSP, 2011/2012) and Tales of Graces F (PS3, 2012).

The tales games need every bit of advertising they can get.

nice post!

lotr:witn, koa:r, sw:tor, tes5:s, and r are the ones i'm looking forward to the most. id needs to come up with a longer title for rage because it just doesn't abbreviate well.

i saw a trailer for that new lotr:witn that had 8 decapitations and 6 delimbifications in about 2.5 minutes.

Nice list! I think the new Zelda game might inspire me to play my Wii for the first time in years. Hopefully I get to try several of the new MMO titles as well for ZAM Smiley: grin

I'm really looking forward to LotR: The War in the North, Skyrim and especially Dark Souls. Also, though it's not on here (not a RPG), The Last Guardian.

I might give SW: The Old Republic a whirl, if I have a computer that can run it when it's released.

They even given a release window for that yet?

[:sigh:]

On a related note: I'm even more psyched for the HD remaster of SotC. My favorite game of all time, right there.

Yeah. I'm hoping that that and ICO are in a bundle, but I am sure they'll be released separately, and I'll buy both. Smiley: lol
