Does anyone have this game on PS3 or 360? I was at a buddies house playing this weekend on a PS2, and the game is pretty bad. Number one, I had to turn the announcers off because they couldn't call a play right to save their lives. It's almost as if the diamond was flipped. Left side became right side and vice-versa. Also, the difficulty jumps up exponentially from Rookie to Pro. Seems there should be something in between. I'm hoping someone out there can come in and tell me it's better on the newer systems.

I tried the PS3 demo, but I couldn't play through one game because the controls confused and infuriated me.

The series has never been good. If you have a ps3 get MLB the show and experience the greatest baseball sim ever made.

My bad, I thought we were talking about "The Show"; that's the demo I played.

I love baseball, but I just can't get into baseball video games. Maybe because there's always a game on TV to watch...

They used to show it in the UK and I was really getting into it... then it stopped. Twas a shame.

Anyway, I had a game on the PS2 that I liked... can't remember what it was but it allowed you to make your own franchise team and draft lower end players and so on. It was bloody hard on anything above easy, though.

I have both MLB and NFL 2K5, the last ones I've ever bought and they're fine. As far as NFL goes, I refuse to buy anything with Madden in/on it.

I dont blame you, they have been really sh*tty games.

If you like football though, I fell in love with NCAA 11... I think i played like 6 or 7 seasons as the Huskies, and that is a huge accomplishment for me.

If you still want to watch MLB, MLB.com has been having a free MLB.tv game of the day. I don't know if it's supposed to go all season or not, but it's pretty neat. Of course, it doesn't help much if you have a rooting interest in one team, but if you just want to watch some baseball, it's pretty cool.

MVP Baseball 2005 is still my alltime favorite baseball game, but The Show has been pretty stellar.

I have All-Star baseball 2K3, and it was awesome. The problem with this game is that it's from 2003. I think 2004 was the last year it was made. Anyway, maybe I can rent the show and see if it's any good.

All-Star Baseball, that's the one I had! And yes, it was :)
