All three heavy variations are made by Master Shipwrights.

I'm an Elder Shipwright and the only choice I have to make heavy ships on are the Tie Fighter and Z-95. I'm using my private space crafting station. Should I be using someone elses?

The T-65 Advanced X-Wing Starfighter (aka the Heavy X-Wing) is a quest reward from the Rebel Space Station in Kashyyyk Space, you must 1st do some of the Kashyyyk Space Station Quests, before it sends you to the Rebel Space Station, you also have to be rebel faction to do the quest, you will recieve a T-65 Advanced X-Wing Starfighter Deed, Rebel Insignia Hologram and the badge: Rebel Heavy X-wing Starfighter for complete'n all these quest.

A Master Shipwright makes the heavy variants:
Heavy Tie Fighter
Heavy Z-95
Heavy Scyk

Thanks. That's what I thought. I can make those three heavy fighters, but not the heavy X-Wing. To do the quest do I go to just any rebel space station in Kashyyyk Space or is it a certain one to go to?

You start doing quests for the Kashyyyk Space Station, the very one you use to land at Kashyyyk.

When you've done so many quests for it, it will give you a waypoint and send you to the Rebel Sace Station that gives you the quest.

Just want to point out that your previous post was better forum-ing :)

Why? Well a) you didn't refer to your characters in-game, b) you kept on the topic at hand (seeing how the previous question was answered, you took a good opportunity to use an existing thread, instead of cluttering the boards with another new thread which would be resolved in a couple of posts).

You could still work on typing skills, but then again, I am a bit of a grammar **** when it comes to forums (I often find myself stopping and deleting whole paragraphs because I realize that sentences linked with however need a ; ). Your post was also a little short, but it was a simple question.

Good job and keep improving.

does this also help us if we are really crap pilots i'm a rebel pilot lvl1 and im on tatooine how do i get two level 2 and over quests?

The Heavy Z-95 would help you out alot, its pretty-much got the mass of a tier 4 ship. Also these ships can be used at tier 1.

Only draw backs i can think of, these ships tend to be very expensive. Expect to shell out like 450-750k credits per Chassis. And they only have one gun & missile launcher.

BTW the T-65 Advanced X-Wing Starfighter (aka the Heavy X-Wing) can not be piloted till you are Tier 4 pilot, and its a rough series of quests.

I was a Tier 4 pilot prior to even CU, so I should be able to fly the Heavy X-Wing. I did the missions like you said and went to the Rebel Outpost. I was able to complete the mission to get the hologram, but the Corvette mission eats my lunch. I remember reading on these boards somewhere that since pub 29, this mission had been dumbed down. If it has, I'd hate to see what it was like before. That corvette shredded my X-Wing in no time and I have pretty good parts on it. I'm sure there is a secret to taking down a lone corvette. What is the best procedure for doing this?

Known Working Tactic:
1. Fly under the Corvette and destroy weapon 5.
2. Fly forward and down a bit (Out of sight from the turrets on top) and shoot the secondary then primary shields. They are the 2 nubs that are on the side pointing foward so you'll have to be in front of them. Alternately use missles to destroy the shields a good space bomb will take them out in one hit.
3. Disable by blasting the engines. (If doing the quest for the adv x-wing etc. stop here)
4. Attack the bridge.

WOW!! Thanks for the tip Instigator. I'll try that tactic later tonight. I'm also doing the Starmap quest and once I have the heavy X-Wing I can actually use the ship parts I keep getting.

Hopefully this thread has helped others doing this quest. Instigator's advice on taking out the corvette was great and it worked. The only additional advice I have is to make sure when doing this mission to stay behind the corvette next to the engines even after you disable it. Wait until the techs arrive to take over the ship and you get a message to escort the corvette.

I made a big mistake peaking my head up over the engines after I disabled it thinking the coast was clear. Before the techs docked, I got waxed in an instant by the remaining guns on the corvette. I had to start all over again.
