My sister broke my PS2 because she was trying to get to the phone. Tripped over a wire and caused the whole thing to smash. What really sucks is that my Hard drive was in there too, which is also broken.

you can get refurbished (old) ps2s at gamestop for like $120 with a free game, new ones for like $250 with a game and I'm assuming $200 without game.
www.gamestop.com
That should be the link, if not then its gameshop.com, I never remembered which was which. See if you can fix it before buying a new one though.

I found out what happened. The PS2 itself is ok, I just have to get a new hard drive and that thing that attaches to the hard drive on the back of ps2 (where you hook up ethernet cable).

First look to see if any outside damage is done to the network adaptor and the system where it plugs in. Then shake the adaptor gently to listen for moving parts. What you can do is go buy a new Ps2 for 150 bucks or you can turn in your old ps2 and get credit aroudn 77 dollars to use towards a new ps2 with the network adaptor built in. The problem with buying a new network adaptor is that your current adaptor may be fine and it's just the ports withing the ps2 that is not working. Try taking it over to a friends house that has a ps2 and checking it out switching them out.
