Ok I'm sure there have been posts like this a million times.
I have a lvl 44 Bard and farmed the werewolf in CLW...got my 1000+ faction in only a few days with just a couple hours each day.
Problem is they all conned light-blue to me. Could have easily taken 2 or 3 on at a time.
So need to know where I can find some wolfwere a little tougher so can get infection.
Went to Forkwatch and killed 2 wolfwere there but they con light-blue too.
And ideas?

It has been stated before that you can get infected, if you can get XP from it. So, pull 3 or 4 at a time if you can handle them.

Yes, as long as you are getting xp for them they can infect you.
But, I also heard that it may be more likely to get infected by ones that are your level/con white.
Dunno though, could be hear-say.

You have a better chance from dbs or whites

Guess I will just keep farming the stupid things till I get infected.
And try killing those wolfwere at FW.
It is wolfwere for infection right? werewolf will just give faction.
Anyone on FH server need to hunt werewolf let me know. I think I got the spots down now in CLW...can get a dozen werewolf easy in under an hour.

This is the way I understand how infection works. That is when the mobs do actually infect it is a grp infect. The mobs also infect in 5 level increments. So some might be 30-34, others 35-39, 40-44, and so on. Possibly even some that are like 31-35, 33-37, and so on. If this is true, which I'm not saying it is, it is possible to get infected by anything lb-red. However it would only be light reds and mobs that have just newly become light blue to you. I got infection on my sk, during a trip in which I killed 1DB and 4LB's.
I would say the best place to find infection would be in Salisearaneen. Run south of CLW to the little camp you come to. Kill mobs around here. I hear this is a good place to spawn were's.

If you get xp and are near corpse when its looted you have a chance for infection.
does ity say when u get infected or u gotta go back to quest guy and he tells u, u got infected?
YOu get a pop up when you go near the quest giver and you turn in 4 tails then say no when asked to hunt more.
thanks for the info billy, got form and almost done with 40 quest now(so far its a pushover)

so, when ur killing the mobs, u never no if u got it?
didnt read anything post but the main 1 so sum1 might have already said this just get a 60 necro or 2 put them on auto follow and go to stone burnt MT i got infected there on my ranger in 2 days i only farmed them 2 hrs a day... SBM is full of lvl 55-60 wolfweres and its easier to get infected by reds then it is LB

But if that is from wolfwere only then I had no chance of getting infected!
All them MOBs in CLW are werewolf if I remember correctly.
Does that mean I have to hunt the elusive wolfwere in Forkwatch and kill like 100 or more to get infected?
On average I seem to be able to find 2 wolfwere in FW after about 1/2 hour hunting and then nothing...got to come back later.
Sucks as in CLW I can easily get 1/2 dozen or more werewolf in 1/2 hour.

I don't know that its possible to say wolfweres are elusive anywhere. I've been many places hunting lion and ratweres, as well as just running around, and see wolfweres everywhere.
Well the problem is you "see them everywhere" but in reality it is usually only 1 at a certain spot. Kill it and spawn can take forever to reoccur.
In CLW I got a routine going...Run West from CLW...found 1-3 werewolf along that route.
Run to village South of CLW...usually a werewolf or 2 hanging around there.
Run East from that village...usually find a couple of werewolf hanging around on the top of grass covered hills.
One hill that has a T on top had 6 at one time!
BUT after I have killed all these werewolf...can take an hour or more before respawning...if I am lucky they sometimes respawn almost instantly...so a semi-random spawn...but usually a 1/2 to 1 hour wait for spawn.
I found that going onto another toon for an hour than coming back worked great.
That was how I got all my faction but no infection in just a few days.

were(something) only gives faction.
So in the case of getting the wolfwere infection since they are all wolfwere around CLW you can get infection.
Wolfwere is very easy to get infected in your 30s..and almost impossible to get infected in 50s...so 44 is just darn hard..and a pain in the ***
