I have been farming the freezblood camp several times while i was registered over the last couple of days and have seen no sign of Tak. I have farmed there several times in the past and have sucessfully spawned him as many as 5 times per hour. I have been recently farming there for several hours at a time and no sign of him. Was wondering if that particular spawn was removed or if i just had a stroke of bad luck?
There is ausch a thing as putting more than one question in one post. I understand that you may not know it, but your pushing threads other people want to read down, and theres just no reason to have four topics by the same person within such a short amount of time.

im pretty sure he has a 24 hour respawn, but even then he sometimes doesnt drop it.
nah I've farmed there with my friend for 3 hours and one dropped in the beginning but then never again, we saw him like 5 times that time. Another time we farmed for most of the night and got him 3 times and nothing. I like the glowy shields, I have one on Spife and a power nec on dh I think. Would be cool if they didn't drop anymore, be a huge increase in cost ^_^

wut lvl is this item, i never had one befor
20(ish) way over priced, has caster stats on it but it isn't worth what it sells for. Just looks cool.

it sells for a lot but take a look at darkwood claws, drop every 12 hours or so, sells for 500-800k, what lvl 22 monk has that much money? Good wepons and they look cool but...
GLowy shield would be better if it were less, 8 int 8 wis, 20 ac is a maybe I don't think it gives any ac lol. Its all all though

There are various higher level ones from 30 something to 60 that have way better stats, and look the same, and sell for around the same price. So if your a caster, just save the money and buy a better one later.
but if your not a caster! they glow, come on how cool is that?
Well, if you ask me it looks stupid on tanks and DDs. Its really a caster looking thing. You know, like they imagined it, and with the help of some intoxication it showed up?
of corse, it looks like crap on other classes but then again the first one (the crystalline orb) is bad statted so it looks sorta bad on casters, its out of place on most of em.
This shield is the biggest piece of crap in the game. It is so not worth the price. Get an Aura of Karana is you want a caster shield - its level 26 I believe and it will cost you a few mill but as far as shields go it is one of the primo caster gear. I used it right up until I could change it for one of the mid 40 lvl shields.

You have to make sure all the place holders(clerics) are dead , then killt the freeze blood ratter and ususaly tak spawns after that if your lucky.
The sheilds level 20, all/all and its worthless, people spend alot of money on it just for looks.

It's just very random, but Sef is right about the clerics, must kill em and not neglect the igloo on the hilltop...idk about the ratter, as I have spawned Tak without killing it.
Yeah, the shield is worthless, 'cept for looking good on the dollies...but if it sells well still, then wth? It's called farming. On top of that, gem drops usually don't suck there, so all in all, if you just want a quiet profitable session of killing gobs, why not?

GO with your inventory as emtpy as posible, youll get alot of Crapyy rares and weapons
Theres this 1 tunic your going to get 10 times at least.

Not sure but might have some to do with the 215 or 260 ac that it comes with? For most casters this will just about double their AC. It is not about the PoT you idiot.

Frankly, when I used to farm here, I would just delete all the crap, and keep the better rares and the gems and the few things that stack to 99, just to pay for reps.
And I think Tak is about level 24-ish...should take one of the babies up and look, i guess.

he might be 24 I'm not sure. I know that all the other guys are db to a 24, least thats what I remember but that coulda been a year ago. I would say he would be soloable by most decently equiped 24's

Yes i know how to spawn him...i also know that it is a piece of crap...all im doin is tryin to farm it and rip off all the people that will buy it for 200k...
hmm you might want to try darkwood claws, they are OK for they're level, 22 275 damage, monk only, pretty cool looking, thats it. Pretty good for 22, the best part is they sell for 400-800k, but it might take you about 14 hours, its kind of annoying so only do it if you have time, and start and don't stop untill your done, for all you know the next time he spawns he'll have it.

i used to farm this guy constantly cuz i was too low too farm anything worthwhile. i got as much as 400k for it once. I have seen him there alot recently running by but not farming him. He spawns alot but i haven't seen the orb in like 6 months at least. i was wondring if they still dropped myself. And while i'm here, i would like to dispell rumors that King Ikcil no longer drops Ikcil's warblade. my friend got one yesterday. Not sure that rumor is everywhere, but it was going around on PPO.

oh sorry i didn't realize that casters are now tanks and they need AC in order to group properly...
what good is the xtra 200 ac if your going to die in 1 crit/quad anyways?
