Resource Quality: Overall QuestionsFollow

Howdy folks,

I just started Artisanship and have been dabbling in collecting resources. Right now I am on Naboo collecting Imabow (steel) and Seifi (steel). I am trying to figure out the various stats of different ores and I am afraid failing miserably. I cant seem to find a forum or guide that talks about the different stats and what they apply to, and I am apparently too slow to figure out if a high attribute is better, or if low is the way to go. So this is my call for HELP lol. I don't want to start using and or selling crap ore.

Thanks!

higher is better. and dont forget every so often there is a new uber resource of each type i think. the resources also shift places to keep you crafty crafters on your toes.

Right on!

Soooo basically my time is wasted mining the Seifi with an overall of about 300, when I can find the Imabow with an overall of over 900, with generally 200 points higher on all the other stats. I assume I will discover the use of stats like heat resistance, cold resistance, maleability, etc once I get into more artisan work?

Thanks again!

Keep in mind that overall quality score only affects certain items. If you make speeders/vehicles for example, the only stat that matters is conductivity, I think. So, check your schematic for what stats affect your final product.

For example, look at the x (call it the swoop) schematic. It says something like "experimental values" or sometihng like that. beside/below it will be a stat, in this case 'conductivity' and a percentage. the percentage is how much that particular attribute of a required resource affects the quality of your product. So if your product quality is shaped 100% by maleability, then you want to use a resource high in that and the others don't matter.
