(i know know i know thats amazing me thinking wow!)
Why dont we start an item pool for the people of Alla.. You can never sell your old junk on the auction it seems.. lvl 17 quest armor isnt in high demand.. so for the quest eq that is tradeable and you lvl 30 with no need for the old stuff you can throw it in there and when one of your alla buddys needs it they can have it by asking on alla ?? Good idea or not.. If it is we should probably put safeguards to keep from being jacked.. If its not or this is already in affect Im sorry.

The only problem I see with that is we all play different servers, and you run the risk of the items being lost. We have mainy undesireable people here I wouldnt trust, then there are some of us that dont play regular enough we whould have the item and never recirculate it.

Then you make an item pool for each server..
You must return items when your done (or in a certain amount of time) or else you may never take out items again.
Rules on who can take it out and when (as in a person who only spams wont be allowed to have an item.. extremely new people same thing since they have no loyalty to Alla and people who dont have the proper class/race for the item. I think another requirment would be in order to be elligible(if thats how you spell it) you must have donated an item yourself..
Im not saying high level like 60 quest items I mean like lvl 17 stuff.. I mean who does the 17s for the xp.. or the 23s (except for the spell one) or the 25s..
Then theres thant low level rare junk that you get.. Waste of space that stuff.. What level 20 wants his old lvl 11 rare weapon.

I think its at least worth a shot.. and wouldnt that be great if one day you got to borrow a heartsblood breastplate.. saving a bunch of money on something you would only use for several levels...

I doubt people would be trustworthy enough.
There wuld be to much stealing and peopel getting mad.
The idea would only work in a perfect world where every1 was honest.
Its a good idea tho.

A good will system could be established where people would give away items to others
People would donate and if you needed a item you could just fill out a form and a representive( a honest person) would give you the item.

Only problem would be gettign the items all onto a character and the inventory problems with it.

can i join in on this item pool if i just made this user name? its ok if i cant, just want to check out this site it looks pretty cool
#7 Jul 03 2005 at 12:32 AM Rating: Excellent
Again there is no way to get the item back, if a person decides to quit it doesnt matter to them. It is a problem with trust, no one knows us, there is a great risk in trading items out.

For a different bank on all servers would limit how many items would be available. I have no problem with your idea, I just dont think all the bugs are worked out to make it work.

BTW I do the 17 armour qst for the xp, they break up grinding for a lvl.

I meant in my idea just giving them away without returning them, most of those items arnt realy worth much anyways.

It would require realy nice people tho.

I am a good and trustworthy person. No savage I dont think so it should require some time on the Alla website so we know a little bit more about you.. if your trustworthy and all that. If we dont get the items back we wont have them to give out . . .
since people are actually intrested in this we might as well start taking donations now.. Hopefully it works.

It realy is a good idea just one thatll take a lot of trust to make it happen.

IF it ever comes into the game ill help it out

It worked for 8 different Diablo 2 servers it will work here..
Rule 1: We need to decide the requirement for getting the item.
Rule 2: How long the item can be borrowed.
Rule 3: Who will hold the items.
Rule 4: The maximum number of items that can be taken away.
Rule 5: What the min. donation to be part of the item pool will be.
Rule 6: (I dont know yet but I will think of one :P)

The vets here should probably decide and I probably shouldnt qualify...

The most important thing to get this up running and working is that the people are not only intrsted and willing to help out but bleave it can be done and that it will work. It would only take a week to figure out how to make it work but that will require effort and I cant do it by myself since I have no idea who is trustworthy and all the that.
If no one will help its a bust already but if some of the more active members of the alla board contribute it will be a glorious success. Earlier I said it was 8 server I forgot to add ladder its more than 8.. 4 on each is 16 servers and it worked. We can handle a simple 6.
I have some level 17 stuff for shamans to donate if it does get up and running on Ferrans Hope. And a lot of stuff to donate on MF.

Sefanna only members of the board will be taking the items out and so we have more of an idea of who we can trust. People who rip us off have no chance at getting other items from the pool and so eventually the ripping off will go down to a minimum. It will never end though since you are right people are greedy pigs. At least they wont make much out of it.

I'd like to help out. I got's lots of stuff filling up in my banks that I'd like to get rid of. I have most of my characters on Diren Hold and Ferran's Hope, so let me know if you need something and I'll try to get it to you. Hopefully, I can level my Necro up so I can farm for random stuff. I'll post anything I find if yall want.

The only suggestion I have is make a minimum donation required to extract something. This will stop most of the people who just want to get in and get a free item. Such as 3 items donated valued at 7500t each or more to take somthing out.

If this does get up and running. I have some stuff I don't need anymore. Mainly 20-35 ranger stuff, and upper-teens to mid-20's Druid items.

Good luck Smiley: smile

I was thinking of just getting items and giving it away for people just starting out, like Savagez (I'm not sure if you're new to the game or not, just using you as an example).
If we are paying for the items, we should make it seem like an Auction House for people who post on the Allakhazam forums. If you find an Item you'd like to sell, you give it to a Vet, and they start a reasonable price for the item, then people from that server will bid on it. That would be kinda fun. Just an idea, so if you don't like it, I don't care.

The entire point was that it would be free. Giving it out to people like Savage is a goal but I meant more of low level toons. People on alla make new toons all the time I bet.. I know I do a new one every few months. Its all up to you though.

Ok: So we have
A minimum donation of 3 items worth 7.5k.. So thats what 22.5k minumum donation to get into the pool. Probably be easier to manage without the .5 so 22k (in tunar or in value) to get into the item pool. People who pay the requirment I will write here below
----------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------
we still need maximum out at one time. I think an entire set is probably the max that should be out but give me your opinions.

Fine. I guess I will have to do this on my own: I will get it to work or fall asleep trying.
1: In order to be able to take out items you must:
a-Give a donation to the item pool equal to 20k Tunar in value.
b-Be approved by one of the forum vetrans who are in the item pool.
c-You must have posted at least 75 times or been posting regularly for 1 month.
**Rule a counts on each server, you must give a new donation on all the you join.

2: You can only take :
a- A maximum of 500k value/ 5 items this is for all servers combined.
b- You can only keep an item for two months max. The item must be returned fully repaired.

3: In order to get :
a- You cant just take an item you cant use. A dwarf paldin lvl 1 will not be allowed a lvl 30 shield for wizards.

**New rules will be posted above;check often so you dont get in trouble**
People who are able to take out items will be listed below:

People who are unable to take out items because of breaking a rule will be listed below:
