New background at SoE.
Reading it it sounds like their is going to be a new run amuck drgon coming and some new crafting for gear. I am not sure how the spell scrolls thing will be like though.

Halas was just a metaphor so it could be anywhere, but it is not like gnomes are not know for letting clockworks loose to destry towns.
WHat else woudl it do though, some thing would have to happen other then it just being there servent(borring!)
That is why I said it would run amuck, sorta like the 35 qst where you have to stop the clockwork before it hits lands end. Except on a grander scale.

*** Remember though this is a back story, so nothing may ever come from it. It is just ideas running around that SoE used to make a story.
Its probaly just a filler to make people less upset aobut waits bewteen epics.

Heres another idea: Gnomes make clockwork dragon.. A brand new dragon enters our world for this quest .New dragon gets pissed at gnomes and go attacks them for making a cheap'n'stupid look a like of itself. New spells are recorded because of the magical effects of the dragon and the 'zombie parchmnet'.. :P maybe there will be a group form of dragon spell thing! :PrayS: Dragon scale, or eye or something as a new gem or maybe a new tailoring thread being mummy skin.

Or the Gnomes (who are neutral in this game, unless your a necro) make the dragon, then take it to clockwork town and send it to destroy them!!!!!!! But, the nome ***** again! and it turns to the clockworks and becomes one of their town. HAHA! I'd like to see somebody do any quest involving that town. "Yes! I finnaly just soloed my 20 path! Now time to loot." the next thing the player hears is "Ughhh-aghhhh!" then they say "GD..... wtf was that..." they run back and just see a HUGE dragon standing in the middle of clockwork town, just standing there minding its own business. maybe kinda lookin like its a girl peeing.

In EQPC ive heard gnomes knocked out the Dark Elves all but a few of them. What if they kll off the delfs and destroy neriak, making the game a little more like EQPC, but then the dragon runs amuck? Is that a possibility, or am I bein crazy? (i heard gnomes destroyed delves from a friend who plays EQPC, but he didn't know how the gnomes almost killed them off)
