I thought you could repair the BARC once it was destroyed. The flash speeder you can get another one by typing /flash and paying 20,000cr. You can do that because the only way to get one is to have pre ordered JTL.
So since the only way to get a BARC was to buy the Total Experience, something similar should be in place. I thought I read in this forum somewhere that you can repair the BARC even after it's been destroyed. So don't delete it until you try.

Yeah, my BARC's been disabled by Rebel scum twice, and both times I just hoofed it over to the nearest Parking Garage: presto repairo, all better.
There's also BARC repair kits that let you repair it out in the wilds, but people often charge insane amounts of money for it.

well.. the current repair at the garages is a bug... dont get use to it... :)
If the garages dont work, which personally i think they shouldn't for a full refit (the should only repair like they do for other vehicles) Master Artisans can make the repair kits for them. Personally i think that is a good system, the crafters did get hit pretty hard with the whole cu thing so it would be nice to give them something back.
As for them charging huge fees for them, well i wouldn't know I have an artisan friend :-P
But as they are made from space resourses, and well its not much fun doing space mining really is it, and at the moment there isn't much space resourses running around on the open market, mainly its people such as my self going out and getting what my friends require as and when it is required i can imagine they are quite pricey.
and i can tell you its two trips out there for every single single repair kit(in a fighter), so if expensive, although i dont know what price you guys have seen them for, i would expect them to cost more than your average speeder (they do use more resourses i think)

So the barc speeder will no longer be a nice special vehicle, itll just be another piece of crap that you might aswell destroy after it gets disabled. Great i really liked that i could get my barc fixed for free.
Btw the repair kits ive found were for 300k, a complete rip off, the ppl who make and sell them for this should be asshamed :)

considering that it takes 950 of 2 differnet types of astroid material to make the BARC repair kits, and mining astroid material is a pain, its understandable that they charge more for it.

What I don't understand is why they made the Flash Speeder (JtL special purchase vehicle) a simple 20k respawn, and the BARC Speeder (TE special purchase vehicle) require a repair kit that's so hard to make, people charge 200k to 400k or more for it. Rediculous.
Well the BARC speeder is better than the Flash, it is faster anyway. I understand it is the fastest speeder in the game but I am unable to test this as I don't have one.

My BARC SPEEDER got destroyed by Rebels too iv never really been botherd too refix it anyway not as im lazy just for like 200k for a repair kit is not worth it too me a swoop is just the same.
Ok i have to agree with you, they are charging way to much, but hell you guys know how it works, they new they put the price up, we dont buy, the price will come down and settle out at a much more agreeable figure, Well i hope,
But for you people out there its seems the bug with the garages to repair them is like the "to far to watch" entertainer bug, i.e it seems to be as and when they feel like it
(could someone pls explain to me how a bug like that can come and go, i dont get it, i think some one some where is ******* with us entertainers lol, just cause im paranoid dont mean they aren't out to get me!)
I have found some garages work, some don't, Narmalle worked for me on saturday when a lovely loyal fellow of the empire decided to disabled my barc in one shot (please how the hell does a lvl 17 disable a pretty much full condition bike in one go????) Needless to say i was not impressed and ruined the poor npc's day to repay the favour.
But my barc repaired its self at the garage, which was nice, and cheered me up. So off i went to log on my alt, but saddness ensued my alts barc is still disabled and awaiting me to stop being lazy and get some mining done even though i have tried 3-4 diffrent garages, whats with that?????????????????????
I just love SOE's Game Enhancing Features,
You can Love them too, Just scratch out your eyes dont you just feel its to uber that you can see anyway, makes it more engaging if you cant see, makes you ahve to thing and use tactics. Plus if you cant see the bugs, the bugs can't get you and you can pretend everything is fine just like the rest of SOE and their pat on the back for another messd up publish crew!
