I already wrote the dueling guide the other day.
Quote:
Xenonprimes Guide to Dueling.

1. Get your Character to 60 as everyone knows that dueling below level 60 doesnt prove anything. Only the end result.
2. max your HP, Resists, HOT.
3. Purchase cms to cut casting costs on damage abilities.
4. Buy gear to increase your stats and perhaps add some procs.
5. Realize that Dueling is pointless as you can no longer wager on it and you still have a small *****.
6. Start new toon set to grinding.

Ill get to work on that wiz guide, expect one in the upcoming months. What can I say I'd rather play than teach.

SHAMAN CREATION GUIDE
Overview

A shaman is similar to a cleric in some aspects, but is more attuned to the world of spirits and animals. While they have a solid repertoire of healing and other clerical type spells, the shaman's strengths lie in offensive and augmenting spells which can benefit others in their everyday lives. Many of the latter draw from the spiritual power of the animals with whom a shaman communes.

As a priest class, a shaman will often be called upon for there healing abilities within a group. However a shaman’s real power is in there DOT's and buffs

A Shaman has a number of powerful Damage over time spells at there disposable. They also have some cold based DD spells to call upon.

Shamans are known thru out Tunaria as the kings of Buff. A shaman can boost just about any stat with there vast array of buffs.

Shamans can use almost any blunt weapon in the game, and have a limited selection of piercing and slashing weapons they can use.

Shamans also receive pets to call upon to aid them in combat.

The downside to Shaman's is that they are often utilizing all there power to buff and heal there party, that little power is left over to utilize their other spells.

Statistics

Strength: Factors in the maximum damage potential you have for each swing in melee combat.

Dexterity: Factors in to how much of your maximum damage potential you hit for each swing in melee combat, it determines max damage potential for ranged combat

Agility: Factors in to your total defense

Stamina: Factors in to determine your total Hit Points

Intelligence: Factors in to your chance to "proc" a spell when you have a buff on you that grants you a chance to proc an effect

Wisdom: You receive 1 point to all resistances for every 7 points of wisdom. Wisdom also determines how much of your maximum damage potential you hit for each time you attack with ranged combat.

Charisma: Factors in a modification to healing spells. Spells that modify an NPCs behavior (Charm, Lull, etc.) will have their duration positively modified based on the casters CHA.

Picking the Right Race:

The first thing you have to pick then is your race. Which race you pick will determine the foundation of you character for the rest of your life in Tunaria so it is kind of important you pick one you like.

As a Ranger you have two choices of race: Barbarian or Troll.

No races have any special abilities or racial exp penalties or bonuses. The main choice is how you want your character to look, faction alignments and starting city.

The only difference really are starting cities: Halas for Barbarians or Grobb for Trolls.

Spending Your Initial Stat Points

Keeping in mind that Wisdom and Stamina are the power pools for a Shaman you have two main directions you could take your haracter. If you max out Wisdom as a primary power stat then you will also increase your resistances. If you max out Stamina as a primary power stat you will have more hitpoints. It's a personal choice you can make. You may choose to go for a balance between the two.

We recommend that you focus on your Wisdom as a power pool.

Dexterity is a lacking stat on most Shamans and it's one you may want to consider.

Strength is also should also be considered. Strength affects your max damage.

Here are the base starting points for the Shaman:

Race Strength Stamina Agility Dexterity Wisdom Intelligence Charisma
Barbarian Shaman 70 80 60 65 75 55 50
Troll Shaman 75 85 60 60 75 50 50

We have based our recommendations below on balancing Wisdom with Stamina. We have generally avoided increasing the Power Pool stats initially since you can do this once you get started with your leveling points and Shaman do lack in other areas at creation. Here are out suggested allocation for you initial stat points:

Barbarian Shaman Add 10 AGI, 10 DEX
Troll Shaman Add 10 AGI, 10 DEX
This will result in the following starting stats:

Race Strength Stamina Agility Dexterity Wisdom Intelligence Charisma
Barbarian Shaman 70 80 70 75 75 55 50
Troll Shaman 75 85 70 70 75 50 50

Summary

While playing an Shaman you will be responsible for healing and buffing your group

This class is sutable for group or solo players

RANGER CREATION GUIDE
Overview

Rangers are at home in the forests of Norrath, as knowledgeable about beasts as druids, though less magically inclined. Their melee prowess makes them competent warriors. They function as a powerful meld of these two classes. Rangers can become adept at using distance weapons such as the bow and arrow and have often been\known to study the skills of the bowyer and fletcher. Members of this class are unsurpassed in their ability to pursue their quarry, be it friend or foe.

As a member of the Melee Archetype, Rangers often out damage most members in the party. However Rangers should not be left to tank for long periods of time.

Ranger also recieve a bonus to damage done via bow or crossbow.

Since when can trolls be rangers, except for the few here on the forums and not counting eq2. This was in your shaman guide so I beleive it was a mistype, and ogres can be sha as well.

5. Pwnz0rZ!! - 1337 (leet) 5P34K (speak) is annoying, and you come off as an obnoxious fool if you use it. It boils down to the spelling and grammar, try to spell the word as best you can, without substituting numbers, and using Z instead of S.

Lol that coming from Nmuk
You just said not to do everything you do everyday.
