I am a 46 warr and finally decieded to try to get the were form .. I am going Lion.. I completed the quest and now I am working on getting my 1,000 faction.. I am at about 120 faction. I am going in the 30-40 range zones to farm the faction then I will go to my level zones to get infected.. My problem is that even going to the zones that lionweres spawn in, you rarely see them... I even tryed killing all the mobs to try to get the lionweres to spawn.. very little luck.. it seems when I first enter a zone where they spawn, I will see one and get it.. but then I cant get another to spawn.. I been workin about 3 days on this.. with another 880 faction to go before I can even work on gettin infected, this seems like I might not be a LionWere til chirstmas :-( ... My question is there any other creature that gives the same faction you need that is a camp so the 1,000 can be reached faster? I am not worried about infection at this point.. I am focusing on getting my 1,000 faction first possibly from something faster then go after lionweres to get infection.. Any info on this will greatly halp me.. Were Forms are still something new to me.. Thanks

You can get faction really easily by going between the mountains in centaur valley. They are werelions though so you dont have any chance of infection from them, but you can get faction.

Yep go to Centuar Valley and look for a opening in a mountain. In there, there will be around 50 werelions(only give faction not infect)thier levels range from 30-40. Kill until you got 1000 faction.

If you head out of blackwater(on the road past the coach)
before the bridge on the left hand side cross the water and back in those mountians is where the werelions are which will give faction not infection.

Follow the river North out of Blackwater. Keep going til you see a mountain to your left. From the river, looking at this mountain from the river you should see a valley in the middle. Enter it and werelions spawn towards the back, this should be around CV(C).

If this spot is already camped or something, you can also get faction in EG. In the Northern edge of the zone you can find plenty of greater werelions, also plenty of werebears here too. At lv 47 these were all light blue so should be the same for you.

It depends. Infection is random so you could get it by figting one lionwere or you could farm hundreds of them and not get it like I did.

Ive heard a lot of people around the 30's get infection pretty fast while the higher levels usually take longer. This could be caused by poor mob selection though so dont take it as a fact that it is easier for lower levels.

Fort Allinece i got my lion infect there in 4 kills. But take a 50+ Tank/healer/pet up there because those mobs are tough.

yeah I havent seen any lionweres that are my level yet.. and with only a 1% chance of getting infected... this is starting to seem like a very difficult thing to do.. when most people hunt for infection, do they go in a grp to search more area at once? I only started on weres 3 days ago and have been soloing most of it.. I have only seen 3 lionweres and they were all LB.. I am open to all input and opinions.. I am startin to go crazy over this, I can use all the help I can get. Thanks

Well I havent found anything on if the greater werelions give infection or not(Its kinda hard without useing the search). You might just have to wait a little while for that one.
#26 Jun 27 2005 at 9:10 PM Rating: Decent
Well I didnt find anything about that. Then I decided to go to hodstock and got this...

level 40-50
Desert Hate
Elephant Graveyard
South Crossroads
Wktaan's 4th Talon
Deathfist Horde

places to get infected.
