becoming an imperial pilotFollow

ok i know this makes me look like the noob i am in this game but my god i cant take it anymore. i need help becoming an imperial pilot. i have been playing this game for a week and gotten nowhere. i talked to the guy in the cantina in mos eisley and did a bunch of missions for him in space but now i want to join the imperial army and fly ties and stuff like that, but every time i go to bestine and try to enlist with allt he imperial npc's there , no one lets me into the imperial army. how do i get in??? do i have to buy pilot clothes??? what missions/ quests do i have to do??? any help is GREATLY appreciated thanks.

If you are a freelance or neutral pilot and you want to switch you have to go to the Bestine Hotel and talk to Gil Barton (or Burton?)
Anyway he's the Neutral pilot coordinator and he will allow you to quit your squadron. Realize that you will loose all your piloting skills and experience. It also might be a good idea to take all the components out of your ship first. (Although I'm not sure if that makes a difference, I switched factions before and never had any problem removing components from my old ship. You just won't be able to fly it anymore.)
Once you have quit, go to the pilot trainer of the squadron of your choice and sign up. You might have to ask around to find the right guy. I don't remember where the Imperial ones are.

Inquisition starts in kadaara on naboo, then all others are in the emperors retreet (can land there after you get 1111 and do the mission for the space station)
