***Dueling returns with the wagering function disabled.

***Good and evil adventurers level 10 and up can discover some new information on Norrath's current state of affairs. Look around for individuals you have not seen before, they may have tasks for you to complete!

***Monsters in Geomancer's Citadel have some new tricks up their sleeves, and perhaps new weaknesses. They invite you to come back and do battle with them...

***The zombie quests in fog marsh and wymondham have been removed.

***A new forum quest has been added for adventurers of the 50th to 54th season. Your clue is: "One of small stature is in search of something, near where the frost meets the fields."

***For those who attended fan faire in Las Vegas, please visit the forums at www.everquest.com/eqoa for information on your commemorative item!
Most of it is positive stuff, still no ETA on the next set of epics. But what the hell are forum quests, and why do you have to be 50-54 for it. If it was on the forum why would level matter. If it is in game it sounds to be a fairy north of murnf as my guess.

The forum quests are only for certain levels, and are in-game quests. The last one was the Staff of Faykind quest.
I think it is stupid to only involve certain level toons. If they do this, they need to make the items NTL.
I always seem to miss the cut offs for these quests. My toons werent high enough for the last forum quests. Now this one, I am just a tad too high.

I always feel left out .

If you are the first one to post the reward for the quest on the main boards, you get a special Avatar there, and maybe a special item.

Good. I didn't like that, it was as boring as being PL'd !!! I hated being invited to groups who were using that damm undead DS. Another STUPID idea by SAPP, that hurt regular grouping!

Perhaps the only good thing that SAPP has did, fix BORDEL's BS mistake!

A prime example of why our subscription rates has risen!!! A BS quest that only serves a handful of peeps on THIER forum! I'm sure this another great idea from SAPP! :(

I actually liked the undead DS, let me solo on my cleric. Though it was letting a lot of ****** tanks level up way too fast. I was just waiting for it to be removed, knew it was coming soon.

And Dirges, the forum quests are quests in game, where you post the reward on the forum and you get a special avatar and title.. That's about it, have to be hte first one to do so or whatever.. My closest toon to that is 55, so guess I won't bother with it, seeing as how my closest under the required level range is 43.

Actually this is the third forum quest. The first was for the Staff of Faykind, lv29-33. The second one started in Blackwater and was for lv40-44. The reward from that one was a NTL cup that when drank gave an HPMax and PowMax for 30min duration. The cup could then be re-filled in fp after using the 1 charge, which still can be.

As others have already said, the forum quests are just a little game for the main site posters. The first to post the reward wins a special title and avatar. They really arent that bad for non main site posters, so far have given some fairly nice rewards.

Like I said I need someone to PL my monk 14 level so I can start this quest only to finish it to late to hand in the final item. Muck like the luck when I got Black Screen going to hand in lucky pants. I figured I had time to hand it in the next day but alas they took it down while I was at work.
