but anyway, obviously these dumbass have never herd of Guildwars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a pc game, sounds sweet, 50 bucks for it, guarenteed new expansion every 6-9 months, and, to really shut SOE up, NO SUBSCRIPTION FEE'S EVER! And can anybody hook me up with Sapphy's e-mail? lol welps, im off to go lvl me gosh dangit warrior

umm you do know there is a all access pass that is good for eqoa and other games right? it's a bundle package

Guild wars is a good game for what it is but it's not a mmorpg. It's a team effort for PvE(player vs enviroment) which blows *** really wasnt thought out well and the story line sucks. The PvP is done very well thou. As for the game it is free to play but you are required to buy the upgrades bi yearly to get the full effect of the game.

As for eqoa pay the money think of it as an envestment into eqoa's future in PS3.

that is if they do a migration it would be an great investment. but do you think they will migrate or just offer a new game set in a different time like EQ and EQ2.

The power of the ps3 can run the original everquest and then some. I honestly wouldnt be surprised if we got EQ they have the product created and it would only take some minor tweaking(as far as programing goes) to adapt it to console. The ps3 graphic cards,ram, memory can handle a game of that caliber. As far as eqoa is concerned i think it is dead in the water when ps3 comes out. It would be an inadequate game for a superious system when they can create a new version of the game and start over with promotions to get the game off right.

Nope, I pay the 20+ a month to save money and keep from getting bored, I am not a evercrackhead, and havent been for quite a while. I play the games for enjoyment, I am not a min maxer or even care about the uber loot. That is for pathetic losers like you. If SOE was to raise my rates above what I feel is fair, NCsoft cryptic already have a game I like playing and Turbine is about to release DnD online. Soe is not the only company around.

Guild wars, is not in the same category as other MMO. It is a dumb down game made for people who dont want to make any effort to get stuff. The lvl cap is 20, and very easy to reach, can you imagine getting to the lvl cap in a week and then running out of most of the content and having to wait 6 months do do more? It is also not free, they charge for the use of the voice chat system which other pc games can use for free.
