Advancing in SWG - newbFollow

I have been playing the game for about a week and a half and really enjoy it. I came from WoW and love the custimization availible, but I have a few questions on advancement of your character. I am aiming towards becoming a Swordsman, but the xp just flows in so slow. My combat level is 10 and I would like to get into some groups to get the xp flowing better. I haven't seens any groups around though. Is there some place in the galaxy that I am missing? At my level am I just restricted to fighting rats outside of the cities or do people my level actually group? Any advice on faster advancment would be great. Thank you.

Yeah dantooine and find a nice group og high lvl players, all youll need is one hit on the mob and youll get allot more xp.

Or try good ol' Mos Lowlands on Tat and hunt banthas and such. But remember to get into a group that is higher lvl for the missions. Remember what they said above, all you need is one hit to get max xp. You got on those 80+ missions and you will get 4.5-5.0k per kill.. One hit.
