I have read a few posts on other sites that say that you are able to use a debit card to pay for Star Wars Galaxies. Is it possible to use a debit card, because i cannot get hold of game cards in the UK and i don't really want to use a credit card. Can someone help! Thanks

because apparently it does not actually say that the game accepts debit card, but that it does accept visa credit card. i have a visa electron debit card, so will i be able to type in the debit card number in the credit card space? Thanks for replying.

As far as I know, all banks and credit unions that issue debit cards have a partnership or agreement with VISA or MasterCard, etc. and all transactions are treated like a credit card transaction at the vender(SOE, Amazon, etc) and form there VISA charges you bank and in turn the funds come directly out of your account. VISA and the other card company’s make there money by charging the vender a small percentage of each transaction.

Ok so I can use my debit card is what your all saying. So to use do I select that I'm using a visa credit card, then enter in my debit card number? Is that all I have to do?

Yea that right. i used my debit card to buy SWG total experience off of gameplay.co.uk. I was very confused about whether you could use a debit card, but when i typed the debit card number under where it asked for the credit card number, it worked fine.

BestBuy.ca has it for $34.99. That's CAD btw. Plus it says free shipping. You might need a credit card to pay for it though.

EDIT
Yep you do.

Also it says out of stock.

You could also try Compusmart.ca They say they have it in stock but it is more expensive. It is $29.99 plus $4.99 shipping. They also sell prepaid game cards but you also need a credit card to buy it from them so I don't see why you would use a credit card to buy a pre paid game card, the whole point of which is to not use a credit card.
Just go to www.compusmart.ca and do a search for star wars galaxies.

Guess I'll just take the trip to the nearest city and hope I can find the game there.
