Master badgesFollow

I was under the impression that you would be able to attain master badges post-patch before you respecced, or something like that. Anyway, I assume you won't get a master badge from something you have respecced into as a master, so I grinded out brawler and marksman to master and yet still have no badges. Will I have to wait until the respec is entirely over before I can finally get my master badge? As its all I need left for 'glowy' i'm losing patience fast. So if anyone can clear up exactly what I need to do for this(if I even can atm) that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

If your char has the ability to Respec, then yes, you will get no Badges, till the Respec time period has ended.

It's mainly due too people chaging professions they have mssterd too other profession so they get badge and you could do this every 12 hours.

I understand that the badges have been disabled for master professions, but I am wondering exactly when the respec period is supposed to end. The reason I ask is that it says that I have the respec token until I use it, implying that the respec period doesn't have a set drop dead date. If that is the case, I will never be able to earn a master badge until I use the respec that I don't need right now, but may choose to use as I enter the Jedi path. Am I correct in thinking this? If so, what doI need to do to resolve the issue or am I just stuck until they decide to get rid of respeccing at some undetermined time in the future or do I have to waste a respec?

Also, I wasn't playing the game when they initiated the CU respec ability and didn't start play until after the CU respec period had lapsed, so I don't have an available CU respec that I could "use" and get out of the way so that I can earn a master profession badge.

If I go ahead and train in a master profession, do I trust that I will get the badge at a later time or should I hold off on training. I don't want to train in it, get no badge, the respec period (with no ending date) ends, I don't get a badge retroactively assigned and then I have to unlearn the master skill and do it all over again so I can get the badge.

Thanks so much for any help you can give on this.

Never mind. I discovered that if anyone is like me (i.e., no use for the respec atm and training to master an elite profession), you will have to use your respec token, do nothing in the respecing template and just say you're done. After that, in a few minutes (taking a shuttle somewhere helps speed up the process), you will get a message saying that you earned a master badge for a master elite profession skill you have already trained in but for which you haven't yet gotten a badge for it b/c of the respec.

I didn't think it was that difficult. Once the Respec ended, I noticed when I logged in the next day, it gave me the master badges for the one that I mastered during the respec period.
