OK - So my guild has been attemping to kill Nox for 4 days now and we keep having trouble. Not that we don't have enough people we got about 30 people including max resist tank, faithfull clerics and about 10 necros. But people are not getting out of Aoe, just general noob BS.

But I started noticing that everytime he got 2 bubs down the tank would die, which led me to wonder if he was DT'ing. Anyways, just wanted some advice on how to kill him like usefulll hiding spots and such and AoE timings, etc.... thanks in advance.

first off Norox does not DT
secondly to avoid AoE do this, have the MT get into a certain spot by the rock that is near the lake, then have all the necros put each other on ignore and pick a spot where they will not be hit by the AoE and can still pact the tank (Ignore the person so that you are all in the amount of area that one person would take up) then you could have someone else pull to the MT if you wanted to, a melee with windwatchers bow could pull no problem, then just chain all your patchers and have the DDs go all out and it shouldnt be too tough with 30 people.
Good luck

Maybe someone should time the AoE so everyone knows ruffly when the AoE is coming. Another soultion is haveing someone with high resist ie a backup tank call out AoE.

1, it is extremely hard to have a back up MT on a single big raid mob, there is the issue of getting aggro, aswell as all the healers getting your con in time, also keeping the raid mob in one spot so it doesn't move when switching tanks, so that it doesn't get into the healers' los and hit them, but keeping the tank in their LoS so he can get heals.

2, on Norox I have yet to see a tank pull it himself and MT it simply because he needs to stand still and keep in that one spot where the mob can't see the healers, but the healers can see him, not to mention taking all that damage before getting back to the healers.

3, from reading the post, not really sure what the problem is, and hard to give a suggestion, but prehaps spliting all the healers into two heal teams might work, have half the insta'ers go from low to high, and the rest from high to low, and possibly switch off if not all healing is required at once so that some can refill mana.

Yea I tried suggesting that but they're are all convinced that the back-up would not be able to get agro. Furthermore, all the 10+ necros and additional healers might not be able to con the new tank in time to heal - let alone even kno wif he died because of all the lag.
