My main toon is a Bard. I see a lot of posts for Path Quests, but what exactly is a path quest, what level do I have to be to do it, or is it a choice through your MC,s?
its your 20, 30, 40, 49, and now 60 quests (i guess). even though the 60 quests is not part of your 20,30,40,49 story line. At these quests you will be able to chose a specialized spell (stick with the type you first chose) and a weapon. at 49 and 60 you are to do EPIC quests. they are path quests that you are hard and you get a powerful spell/weapon.
For a bard you get a choice for power path that grants your group members a boost to PoT, or combat path that buffs str/dex/agi/sta for 1 minute and has a 5 min recast. A quest giver in your home town should give you your 20 spell, a lady on the second floor of the inn in FW will start your 30 qst and introduce the guy that gives your 40 and 49 qsts.
These qsts give you a choice of spell and weapon combos, the 49 gives a seperate choices for spell and weapons. You do not have to take the same spell line for every reward, but at 49 you get a stronger version of the spell if you take the same line all the way through.
The lvl 60 path qsts have just been releases. So far only the first part is doable, and we dont know exactly how they will reward in the end.

For sk there is a life draining spell and a taunt.
For paladin a taunting spell and a AC transfer spell.

Your path quests really have nothing to do with you class masteries, though most MC's are tied in with paths. Seeing as your bard is 28 you should have done your 1st path quest at 20 (either power path or combat path).
