www.inthecore.com/ethereal/index.htm

this is ethereal descendants web page on the gems for each tradeskill...also can tell from the gem descriptions usually...but you just need go in order of the list on the tradeskill receipe menu...for example if you are in jewelry and go into receipes..you will see to the side the list of metals in order...so basically you just craft the first metal along with the glass and mold (ring bracelet necklace or earring) for jewelry...or the pattern and metal/thread if for armor or weapons or tailoring...

however for certain tradeskills you cannot add a gem til about level 3 or the third level of metal ...so you just craft the metal and pattern til you see the top of the receipe list change to level 3 rank 1 then start adding gems....rare gems such as black sapp cannot be added til later than that i think...but commons in jewelry are at level 3 not too sure may be able to start earlier...and the list above will tell you what rarity they are...c= common...ur= ultra rare...i think it explains it on the web page ...

anyways kas i hope that helps =0) by the way for jewelry the stat that helps most in crafting is intelligence...jewelry usually sells more for money making purposes...but armor is well received for special crafted tank gear...=0)

For jewelry black sapphire and blue diamond cannot be used until you get to a gold base.

Diamond, sapphire and other rare gems i believe can be crafted at electrum on.

Uncommon gems start at the metal before electrum

Common gems can be used from level 1 jewel crafting on.

It does help, at least for tailoring. I have gem lists for the other 3 tradeskills. Thank you Seren.

tailoring is very nice...I still carry my 48 rallosian robe on my monk for the extra 33 dex...so for casters and monks crafted robes can be very very helpful...i know alot of casters who will wear the mindflow...

but the big kicker is that most caster/melee/healer MC gear is made by a tailor and not an armorer as you would think...so they are very much in need...we have an excellent druid in our guild that has worked his little doggie paws off becoming a master crafter of all tradeskills...Malyyk is truly our savior for gear and a great main healer =0)

as for the link....sorry but i guess it takes yas to the ED main web page but they have a very easy to use menu to the left...just scroll to gems...and krogs rocks on posting the levels of the rare gems...i will try to look up the acrobat page i found from the guy on the SOE site so i can hopefully post a link here..

i think i also forgot to say once you combine the first metal and glass and mold...you can just make the full stacks til full ...sell and repeat...i usually just make stacks of rings...and then once you "ding" to level two you can continue with the next metal and so forth...i hope that makes sense...and if not let me know =0)
