What if I was grouped with someone when the sith came, they were killed, and someone else looted my datapad to get to the forcevillage? That person tried to give it to me, but it won't let her trade it or drop it. What should I do? My quest journal updated and I don't know what to do. Is there any way that I can get that satapad, or is there any way that the sith will come back?

If your quest journal updated and said you completed the quest you could try just going to the village and see if you can get in. The WP is 5308, -4145 on Dathomir. I think the datapad just gives you that WP so you should be able to get in and talk to the Elder.
