I started out with this template. Smuggler is a nice starwarsy profession, which is good. However if you want to blow stuff up you should realy consider some other profession than smuggler.
One of the skillbox stacks does nothing but lower the cost of factional items. (I allows you to make dealings with Jawa's too, but they dont pay well and have no interesting items to make it worthwile).
Then we have the slicing stack box, which is great. But its a heavy grind. After you grind through that you can expect costumers whom want items modified. Now these costumers are often ignorant wanting specific slices and percentages, something you have no control over. After nerfing the sologroups the price of 3k a piece could perhaps be considered a reasonable payout.
Few people use spices due to the downer and the high benefits from food, and there are only a few of all the spices that are worth doing drugs for.
The combat part of smuggler is realy good, fake death is excellent if you plan to go commando. Since you can set things on fire then fake death and wait til they burn.
Also has some nice pistol attacks. However since you dont get any accuracy nor speed for the pistol youll basicly be a level 4 pistoleer with extra attacks. (you will miss alot)
As for commando. I realy like the commando profession.
The field tactics part is pretty good, its where your defences are, and you get grenades.
The support weapons part is expensive but realy fun. The effects when firing a rocket launcher is some of the best in the game, just my oppinion tho. Also a good rocket launcher can do alot of damage.
The flamer, ahh the flamer. The flamer is good. It is what makes you complete. It is the cleansing fire that will burn those rebells from the skies, ohh the lov... *cough* (Think I got a litle carried away there). Summary flamer: Good damage, nice damage over time effect, can do area attack that also give DoT, Nice graphics and soundeffects when firing specials. Slow, if you miss you need to wait before you can fire again, which can be quite annoying.
Then lastly the Heavy Acid Rifle, HAR. More or less useless. Its a clone of the flamer, doing acid damage and no damage over time burn.
Now the only reason for going master realy is the FlameCone2 special, and +25 on defences. But the flamecone2... ohhh... the flamecone2... ;)
So unless you realy want that flamecone2 I recommend getting some stuff from pistoleer intstead of the HAR stack. (Tho I would recomend you try the flamecone2, but thats just me).
